  2. Can’t quite work out what Camilla is wearing.
The image on my PC screen is not too clear.
Could it be a long dress coat being worn over full length baggy pants?

Princess Ann has an amazing figure and beautiful legs. Really like the length of her skirt, it is quite flattering. The black gloves look a bit out of place though.

Non riesco a capire se Camilla indossa i pantaloni sotto l’abito lungo o è un doppio orlo? E anche adoro il nero non mi piace per questo evento.

King Charles hair is too long at the nape of his neck.

Pity we could not see more of each communities’s outfits … The Korean lady’s dress is beautiful. Thanks for the clarification of the post explaining the lunar new year, glad to see other countries are included and not only the ‘chinese new year’ as we often see everywhere.

    1. Beautiful outfits from all the ladies and gentlemen.

Buckingham palace events host people from around the world, many dressed in traditional attire. So 'where are u from' is a common genuine networking question. Those who take offence from it need to be in touch with their heritage.

If a person of ethnic heritage BORN IN THE UK says, "I'm from here (UK)," and the the bigoted idiot continues to ask the question over and over again, that's not a "genuine networking question." That's just someone being out of touch and racist. And believe me when I say those of us who take offense ARE more than in touch with our heritage!

  8. Lovely to see the Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra, who both look fabulous. I particularly love the pearl choker, beautifully worn by the Duchess. The Princess Royal looks lovely, her outfit in tones on brown suits her.

    1. @ css : Because of the unclear photos, one can only guess what’s going on with Camilla’s ensemble.
My guess is that she is wearing baggy pants or her pyjama bottoms to hide those ubiquitous boots.
The design work on the coat/dress is nice and fits in well with the occasion.

    1. @Marcella : Thanks for the information that it’s a Caftan that Camilla is wearing.
But what she is wearing underneath is not clear in the photo.
I’d say she’s wearing her pyjama bottoms.

I don't like the Beef which served, it was less of salt and more chilly

I have mixed feelings about Camilla’s outfit, I do like caftan style outfits specially on mature women, but I think it’s a little ridiculous that she would choose to wear more ethnic oriented clothes when she is visiting with these communities. Now, Princess Anne looks like she always do, appropriate and without concessions to fashion or trends, what bothers me is the gloves inside, could it be that she has some skin problems?otherwise is extremely weird and somewhat rude.
