The Earl and Countess of Wessex are making a two-day official visit to the Cayman Islands. On the second day of their visit, the Earl visited the Central Caribbean Marine Institute. The Earl is a longstanding patron of the Central Caribbean Marine Institute. During the visit, the 20th anniversary of his patronage was also celebrated.
The Countess attended 100 Women in Finance events as one of their Global Ambassadors. Afterwards, the Countess formally opened the 54th Cayman Islands Agricultural Show that could not take place since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Countess also visited a children’s camp at the YMCA. Afterwards, the Earl and Countess presented the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards at the Government House.
Yesterday evening, the Earl and Countess of Wessex attended a special reception given in their honour at the Government House on Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman.
DeleteIn action with the ball, thats wonderful! Pantsuit very elegant, the colour perfect. The dresses, hm not so sure.

What a lovely pantsuit - great colour and excellent fit. I’m going to ignore the ruffle on the Etro dress because the neckline is so flattering. The blue Zimmerman looks like a winner too. It has an interesting print and of course blue is an excellent choice for C. Sophie. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteIndeed - without the massive ruffle, the Etro dress could be really nice.
DeleteAs a poster already stated, the pant suit was wonderful. The first dress, so-so, the 2nd dress, a definite no. Nice hairstyle with the pantsuit as well.
ReplyDeleteThe pant suit is smashing, and the Zimmerman dress gorgeous - both per the models. I wish we could see better photos of Sophie in both. I think that the suit looks excellent on her (from the one photo) but the Zimmerman dress is less suitable to her body type - but since we can't see a clear photo of her in the dress, I can't say for sure.
ReplyDeleteThe green Etro dress with the extended bottom border is her typical style (no surprises there), but not a style I care for personally. Still, she wears it well.

Love the pink trouser suit--really elegant and stylish. I like the blue dress, though would like to see a full length shot of it. The top of the patterned Etro dress is lovely but the whole look spoiled for me by the long ruffled skirt. Countess Sophie looking great on this tour overall.
ReplyDeleteGreat look for Sophie. all three outfits are very nice. I like her with the kids playing ball. css
ReplyDeleteLove the pink trouser suit--great color for Sophie! The Etro dress is totally Sophie's style--while its too long for her shorter stature, she looks good in it and its obviously comfortable enough to play the children at the event. I think I might really like her in the Zimmerman dress--the blue is another great color choice for her and love the fabric. But I can't see enough photos to decide if the dress is a good choice for her. Hope to see either more photos or see her wear the dress again.

The Pink trouser suit looks great, very chic and stylish. A very elegant look. Both dresses look good and suit Sophie. The Wessex's do such wonderful work, great to see Sophie with the children playing ball, fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWow, that pink pant suit is very flattering. The cut and color is just spot on!! The dresses are not so flattering.
ReplyDeleteThe pants suit is a definite ‘yes’. The two floral dresses are an’ O.K’.
ReplyDeleteOne must take into consideration that the daytime temperatures in the Caymans, in February, is around 30°C.
Loose fitting, free flowing, lightweight fabrics are perfect for the February weather.
I think they do a great job representing the Monarchy. Sophie looks great in the pant suit. I think the dresses she has worn this trip, are very suitable to the destination. Her smile is wonderful. She has had a very good teacher over the years, to watch and learn from, our Queen.
