Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden are on an official visit to Australia. On the evening of February 15, the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel attended a reception for Swedes in Australia that took place at the Contemporary Art Museum in Sydney. The reception was hosted by Sweden's ambassador.

ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable couple, the two of them!
ReplyDeleteThat neckline is so beautiful on her, together with the jewelry it’s perfect. Fun, surprising outfit. They sure seem to have a great time. These pictures really make you smile
ReplyDeleteLove the dress that strongly echos Dior's 50s. Always loved the look. Unfortunately the look is marred by the ugly scrappy sandals. They seem too small across the toes as well.

Exactly my thoughts. Great dress spoiled by the shoes (though not as bad as the hideous ones on the model) Lovely photos of the couple.
DeleteThe sandals - yes – a different style?— maybe.
DeleteIt's summer in Australia at the moment and Sydney is having temperatures in and around 30°C.
Agree. Shoes not elegant enough. My wish: can she please do something different with her hair. Too strict imv.
DeleteI echo the same sentiments about the hair and those ugly sandals, not elegant with her outfit.
DeleteI ment strappy sandals and a pair of sling backs would look elegant and summery.

Victoria est époustouflante dans cette combinaison haut/jupe ; ses boucles d'oreilles dans le même style que son collier sont à tomber par terre ; j'adore les photos où nous la voyons avec Daniel en amoureux !
ReplyDeleteShe looks wonderful in this ensemble. I like the skirt and its colorful motives and the plain top, just the right amount of modern elegance for this occasion. And I love the photos of the two of them!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo of Victoria & the Sydney Opera Hpuse. Love this outfit. Very appropriate for the casual Australian lifestyle. She looks fabulous. Mary
ReplyDeleteAaaaahhhh, she looks terrific... This look suits her beautifully.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that the Royal couple were able to attend and visit the Art museum for this reception. The skirt looks splendid, love the black V off the shoulder top. Her jewels for this occasion, appear to be pale blue amethysts, earrings are beautiful. The necklace is gorgeous, love the shape of the aqua stones.
ReplyDeletePrince Daniel looked very dapper in his blue suit, he is always so beautifully groomed. His suits always fit perfectly. Love the color coordination with Victoria, nice!
Magnifique jewelleries and beautiful skirt and pattern, ravisante
ReplyDeleteI bet the Royals are enjoying our lovely weather. The dress is nice and bright and cheery; with the contrast black bodice and sandals the outfit is just right. I do like the necklace very contemporary, the earrings match nicely. Princess Victoria's sandals are more stylish than the clod hoppers on the model. Prince Daniel looks smart in his suit, he seems to be enjoying himself. (Tara)
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit. The necklace must be new? never seen it before. Her smile is always great, She has lots of support from Daniel. css
ReplyDeleteVictoria is absolute perfection. Gorgeous 50s Dior look skirt and elegant black top The geometric sandals are just right with the top. Gorgeous face-framing aquamarines. I have never
ReplyDeleteSeen so many full smiles from Daniel—he has a great smile! —Anne
But I’m beginning to wonder @Anne, if they’re not including a second honeymoon into this Aussi visit. They both look glowing. Hand in hand and romantic eye contact between them.
DeleteI’ve never seen Prince Daniel smiling like this before.
Maybe we’ll see a new little Prince or Princess (made in Australia) coming along later this year.
@deadeggs, I had the same thoughts about the second honeymoon! Also have never seen such smiles from Daniel. Just glad to see them looking so well. It must be nice to be in the sunshine after a long Winter.
DeleteI just wish she had had a hair dresser style her hair in a chignon instead of the usual bun she typically wears. A make-up artist would be nice. However she still looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to have Crown Princess Victoria back to Australia!! I’ve been waiting for the past 18 years!! So lovely to have Prins Daniel here for his first trip! I’ve been concerned about their marriage for the past year. Victoria
ReplyDeleteAnything about their marriage appears to have been created by the gutter press to help them sell their papers.
DeleteShe wears it well :-)
ReplyDeleteSur ces nouveaux bijoux, je n'arrive pas à déterminer avec quel métal nous voyons les aigue-marine qui sont une pure merveille en s'y confondant surtout sur le collier ?!
ReplyDeleteI just wish she could have another hairstyle once in a while. This grandma style gets so boring. The outfit is nice though.
ReplyDeleteSo very True about the hairstyle
DeleteVictoria and Daniel are one of my favorite Royal couples! Just perfect!
ReplyDeleteThe skirt and blouse and jewelry are very nice, Princess Victoria's sandals are inappropriate and ugly, but still better than the terrible shoes the model has. Also, why are all the models slouching and having some sort of contorted posture? I wish modeling agencies or fashion designers would remove this bad habit that devalues the whole outfit.

Victoria looks marvelous here--love the skirt and top combination! The necklace and earrings are gorgeous--would love to know more about them. Only wish she had worn a different pair of sandals--these appear a bit heavy but it could be the photo. Daniel looks quite handsome here--great smile.
