Temperley London floral embroidery tulle midi dress
I don’t like the dress
ReplyDeleteNor do I. It's not really beautiful.

This dress is a miss and it's hard for something not to work on Leti.
DeleteThere is a LOT going on here, I shouldn't like it but I do. Letizia makes it work with her tiny frame and exotic features. She is simply a beautiful woman.
ReplyDeleteExactly my thoughts.
Deletealso my thoughts
DeleteTotally agree. This is not a dress for just anyone but Letizia wears it beautifully.

A very beautiful dress, perfectly worn.

totally agree
DeleteHmm, a bit disappointing for a Temperley creation. The top half and the bottom half seem to be taken from two different dresses and stuck together - the top half has a glamorous vibe, the bottom half is a casual summer/beach skirt. Not a successful outcome in my eyes.
ReplyDeleteAnd despite this mismatch of a confused dress that doesn't know which way to go, Letizia again manages to look better than the model - this innate ability of hers never ceases to amaze me!

I could not have said it better. Somehow it just does not gel. It looks like a little girls party dress but Letitia almost makes it look ok. I think i the skirt had been witout the tiers it might have lookeed better.
DeleteHad to look at the dress a couple of times to make a decision. I do like it and Letizia looks wonderful. I think I might love the dress had the black design feature across the top of the bodice not continued onto the sleeves. Still, Letizia carries it all off marvelously.

Way too much going on for a dress. A definite no, from this camp.
ReplyDeleteInteresting dress which looks good on Queen Letizia (as does almost everything she wears) However, I'm not sure if I like it. The skirt part is great but the top is very busy. Perhaps just the lower bodice without the transparent top? Or the top with the transparent pattern for the sleeves as well?
ReplyDeleteShe looks beautiful…love the dress!

I've always liked this dress. So pretty and feminine and it looks so good on her.
ReplyDeleteInteresting dress, lots of details, floral embroidery, tulle and it should be too much all together, but somehow on Letizia this dress works. She looks femine, soft and pretty.

Bella ! very beautiful Queen, even if the dress may be too much for the ocassion
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful dress!
ReplyDeleteCertainement un modèle qui convient à Letizia mais pas du tout à mon goût ; sur la dernière photo, très chic l'ensemble de la femme à la droite du roi !
ReplyDeletevery beautiful dress, delicate, floral, feminine, with personality, perfect for the Queen
This dress is no exception. The only thing that disturbs a bit the soft aspect of the dress is that there is too much black in the bodice of the dress. Otherwise it is beautifully made : an even hem, a nice length for an evening event, the transparent parts are just fine, not too much. Shoes and handbag have the right color. Marcella
ReplyDeleteAbito delicato e carino, lei lo indossa bene, ma non mi sembra adatto alla stagione.

Its a busy dress, but I like it, not my usual thing, but the Queen wears it well. Love her accessories, the earrings especially are very pretty, the pale shoes and clutch, I like.
ReplyDeleteThis dress is a work of art of the highest elegance, the finest fabrics and all imaginable embellishments are used. This does justice to both the festivity and the serene occasion. At the same time, it perfectly sets the scene for the strong yet delicate and beautiful Queen of Spain.
ReplyDeleteI like this very much even though it has my pet peeve, a ruffled skirt. I think the fact that the embroideries contains a lot of black makes the overall look far less girlish. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress on the Queen, soft but striking. This would look wonderful on many royal ladies.
ReplyDeleteThe more I look at this dress the more I like it. Really original and of course nobody could wear that dress better than Queen Laetitia
ReplyDeleteIs it my impression or is Letizia a bit at odds with everyone else in terms of dress code. One day she wears red leather pants and a sweater-well below the dress code of everyone else; next time she seems ready to go to a full gala when all others have less pompous attires. Swinging from one end of the spectrum to the other.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, for a different occasion, I like the dress and she wears it well.

She marks the protocol, as there is no one in Spain, only for Military events. So there others are wrong, not Letizia. And obviously there are many people against the Monarchy in Spain, they are there because they are less expensive than a President of a Republic , so their clothes are not important at all, and many people try to bother, even they are not wellcomed in some places. However as their work is amazing they are still there,.
DeleteThank you very much for your differentiated view.
