Queen Sonja visited the Oslo Women's Public Health Association

Queen Sonja of Norway visited a gathering attended by Ukrainian refugees at the Oslo Women's Public Health Association. The Oslo Public Health Association has created a meeting place for Ukrainians who have fled the war in their homeland. The open meetings for Ukrainian refugees in Oslo have been taking place since 16 May 2022.

The Association provides the refugees with insight into Norwegian society, Norwegian language training and help them build a local network. During her 90-minute visit, four of the women shared their stories with Queen Sonja. They spoke about their backgrounds, their concerns for Ukraine and their new lives in Norway.
