Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel are making an official visit to Australia (13–15 Feb.) and New Zealand (16–18 Feb.) at the request of the Swedish government. On the second day of their visit, the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel visited the National Arboretum Canberra. Afterwards, the couple attended a climate meeting that took place at the Australian National University (ANU).

ReplyDeleteGranny Victoria is back
ReplyDeleteYes ! looks so.
DeleteOh no! Such an incredibly boring and rather ill-fitting dress. Ladyofthemanor

DeleteMaybe she figured if she ruined it watering the tree it was no loss to her wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I’ll be kind and just so NO and leave it at that.
ReplyDeleteI’m sure Princess Victoria will understand.
It looks like a carbon copy of the BY MALINA dress the Princess wore in early February at the seminar in Stockholm for The Crown Princess Couple's Foundation. (see NewMyRoyals 2nd February.2023).

This dress is truly aweful
ReplyDeleteOh boy, the cut and fabric are challenging…not even the model looks good in this dress.
ReplyDeleteJ'aime beaucoup ce couple toujours souriant et efficace, mais depuis quelque temps Victoria devient de plus en plus "mémère" par ses tenues et son éternel chignon, on dirait une vieille douairière, quel dommage
ReplyDeleteClearly in the minority today but I quite like the dress and I would drop the word "quite" if the dress was about 6 inches shorter.
ReplyDeleteThe colour is good on her, and I like the black accessories, but I sure wish she’d stop wearing these pussy bow styles. They look fussy and outdated to me. (V.M.)
ReplyDeletePlease get rid of all those pussy willow blouse/dress from your closet Victoria; you’re too young and dresses like your grandmother. Your job is not that serious. Have fun with other styles.
ReplyDeleteI'd give Princess Victoria the thumbs up; I do like her dress very countryish; the sandals are just right. Hoping the Princess has had a chance to taste the local delicacies and try local wine. A lovely couple. Pity they couldn't visit the outback; the real Australia(Tara)
ReplyDeleteAgree with everyone else - the dress is dreadful. The pussy bow is the worst, with the cheap polyester looking material being a close second. The colour is ok, and I don´t mind the pattern although it looks very 70s. The dress has a retro vibe but could move from granny territory to boho territory by opening up the neckline and changing the sleeves to a wider, cuff-less style. I´m envisaging something that could work with a number of alterations, but maybe it´s better to just start over from scratch.
ReplyDeleteNot my favorite outfit on my favorite princess but she always looks engaged and pleasant in what are probably routine, boring duties. Her smile and personality beats any
ReplyDeletenot so great outfit. MD
Crown Princess Victoria is lovely as always, but these types of dresses would be so much better without the granny ruffle at the bottom. To my eyes the dress looks very old fashioned with the ruffle.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of the hemline, if the bow was gone, and a better hemline, this could have been made into a great dress.
ReplyDeleteOn a positive note re: the dress, the color looks splendid on the Crown Princess.
ReplyDeleteNo to the dress, yes to the Princess!
ReplyDeleteDaniel is good- looking as always.
The shape, the shine, the pussy bow, the fit. All terrible. Bad choice.
ReplyDeleteCP Victoria looks lovely. css
ReplyDeleteAwful dress.
