Love this flowy and colorful skirt. Teamed with the white blouse gives more official look. Belt accentuating her slim waist. Love the whole combo. Elegant and classy look.

A very nice take on ethnical dressing. Love the paisley printed skirt. Must be so cool and comfortable to wear and can be paired so so many tops.

Mary is dressed to perfection…love the orange in contrast with the blue and white behind her in the photo. Her husband’s outfit is wrinkled and far less polished, almost like he arrived from an athletic function and didn’t have time to change.

Crown Prince Frederick's jacket is most likely linen and linen wrinkles very easily!

Me too Kaarin. The paisley print in the skirt is so appropriate for a visit to India. On the contrary CP Frederik should have put a pair of beige or brown sneakers on his feet. Marcella

I don't think it's so good, although Etro is a well-known luxury brand. I think, Mary is too slim for that type of skirt, the skirt is too "massive" for her, too much fabric. She looks far better in dresses, skirts or coats that underline her slim silhouette - like the beautiful dark-green coat she wore recently.

First of all Crown Princess Mary is stunning, the paisley skirt flows so elegantly lastly, I can still see in my mind the photograph pf Princess Diana sitting on the same bench alone and looking so sad

I love Etro in general and their beautiful patterns. But here probably the combination with the harsh white blouse undermines the subtle colours of the skirt. Imv the skirt is also too long.

Mary looks gorgeous--I love this skirt and its perfect for a visit to India with its paisely print. The colors of the skirt are also a perfect contrast to the white and blues of the Taj Mahal. The pics of CP couple are wonderful.

  21. This outfit is divine!. The belt co ordinates well with the flowing, gorgeous and feminine skirt, love the colors. The crisp white shirt looks fabulous. The subtle pieces of jewellery, necklaces at her neck I love. The large hoop earrings, gorgeous addition. She looks so elegant. What a beautiful backdrop such a stunning place.

Lovely skirt so fitting for India. Every Royal visit India sits at the bench, the Taj Mahal in the Background. The most famous pic with Diana alone went around the world. The most famous Building in the World is the Taj Mahal in Agra India. css

  23. I like the skirt, the style, the colours, the movement. I would wear it myself if it wasn´t for those dark lines (which can look like you´ve wet yourself), and I don´t need my ovaries depicted on my stomach.

  26. Mary looks so elegant. Great choice for a visit to India.
But looks like they didn’t have time to give Fred a washdown, scrub and polish before he made the visit. Hope they put a lightweight suit or two in his luggage. Waiting with bated breath for more photos of their official visit.

      @ Deadeggs
      Yep, exactly my thoughts.
Fred looks like he's just rolled out of bed and not fully recovered from jetlag😂
Wonder where he digged out those shoes..
Anyway, it's gonna be a bit boring looking at these set of pics...
I mean that CP Mary is flawless as usual.
No high heels (hopefully the slipoers will be a good choice in someone's eyes), no dark tights, no long hair to chop off, no bustiers to badmouth, left aside kinda of anatomy lesson inspired by Mary's maxi skirt.
Yawn, someone will be left with nothing to feel jealous for.
      What a hell of a life🥱

I am sure Crown Prince Frederick's jacket is linen or silk linen which is good in hot weather because it breathes so well, the only issue is that linen wrinkles really bad! Fitzhugh

Fashionwise the outfit is fine, the white shirt is OK though a softer color might have looked better. I agree with the association with the ovaries but it's very rare that someone would look at it this way, so shouldn't be a problem. What I don't like however, is the swollen look on Mary's face. Overall her face looks different, I don't think it's the makeup, maybe the climate? If it's Botox and the like, why this constant quest NOT to look your age? Why not age gracefully and naturally? She definitely doesn't have to worry for not passing a job interview because she's too old.
