Queen Mathilde of Belgium is making a three-day working visit to People’s Republic of Bangladesh from February 6 to 8 in her capacity as UN Advocate for the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Queen will visit the capital Dhaka and Cox's Bazar, a district bordering Myanmar.
With the visit, the Queen aims to gain insight into and pay attention to the progress in Bangladesh in the fields of education for girls, the economic emancipation of women, the fight against domestic violence and mental well-being. On February 6, Queen Mathilde visited the 'Fakir Apparels ltd' garment factory in Dhaka.
Anita Dongre Nadya Dress
EMPORIO ARMANI Coat
The coat is ok, although a bit sophisticated. I don't like the dress nor the hair styling.
ReplyDeletei think she wears the coat better than the model, she made look business chic. i like these new designers in her wardrobe, the dress blends well with the culture
DeleteVery nice dress. It can move into my wardrobe when she tires of it. The style fits her body type perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI am undecided about the coat. Dislike the bubbly shape and that it reminds me of the ugly crimplene fabrics of the 70s. On the other hand it looks very good with the dusty pink of pants and top. In the third picture, from a bit afar, the whole ensemble looks good but close up -no

The pants, top and coat in the first photos blend in nicely together color wise, the ensemble looks lovely. The Nadya dress is very pretty, striking and unusual. I love this dress
ReplyDeleteGyönyörű a ruha.
ReplyDeleteI love both outfits. The Armani coat and trousers look sophisticated and interesting. I’m wondering if she’s had the sleeves altered a bit to make them less full? I think the dress is a good choice for her visit to the garment factory. The fit is excellent and the fabric has a somewhat boho, folkloric look. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteLove the model of the Armani coat with a little twist, the balloon sleeves. The colour combination coat and trousers and matching shoes, Just perfect. The dress is amazing as well.
ReplyDeleteI think the dress is divine, and the yellow coat in combination with the soft pink trousers and top: top!
ReplyDeleteMabel
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits are very lovely. Like the blue pattern dress a lot.
ReplyDeleteOhhh. I want that dress. Its gorgeous on the Queen.
ReplyDeleteFabulous dress that’s hard to wear, but she pulls it off perfectly. Love the Armani coat but would prefer the other pieces in white/ivory and not the matchy matchy pink. One small quibble…she needs a brighter lipstick.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ensemble of the Armani coat and light pink accessories and trousers. The blue dress which she wore the first time during a state visit to India is still working very well. Love the earrings. During a working visit Queen Mathilde prefers to keep it as simple as possible. Her hairdresser probably does not accompany her and she only uses red lipstick during evening receptions and gala dinners. Marcella
