On January 31, the Princess of Wales made a visit to Leeds, northern England. The Princess met vendors and members of the public at Kirkgate Market to discuss their experiences of early childhood. Afterwards, the Princess paid a visit to the University of Leeds where she joined students on the Childhood Studies programme. The Princess also met with a group of students to discuss her Shaping Us campaign and how it overlaps with their degree.

La couleur vert sapin de ce manteau s'harmonise à merveille avec le blanc cassé de sa robe ; élégant petit sac à mains mais je ne pense pas qu'il convienne bien à Kate ; ses bottes sont élégantes dans ce cuir souple !
ReplyDeleteLove the color of Kate's coat. It compliments her coloring and matches her eyes. Love her boots too.
ReplyDeleteAbout boots, my view is that there isn't a real difference between Catherine and Camilla's boots (also article of 31/01) ... Ok these Catherine's boots are only occasional. I persist in thinking that Camilla's needs about boots are not the same as those of Catherine.
DeleteAgree with you both about the colors (these shades of green, cream and brown are wonderful together and with her coloring) and boots- especially with sweater dresses and wool they make sense. Lighter weight or warmer seasonal color dresses and they look off. I think this is why, in addition to overuse is why Camilla’s are different.

Dress plus boots--is Catherine getting style tips from Camilla? Seriously, smart dress, nice coat, lovely bag. The Princess of Wales is looking as good as she always does. Nice to see her talking to the ordinary members of the public about their childhood experiences rather than listening to the academics.
ReplyDeleteI wish she would stop using black eyeliner, it makes her face hard !!
ReplyDeleteAgree!
DeleteSo true!

ReplyDeleteI don't know why but she has been applying her makeup with a trowel lately and it really does not suit her. Even for night time engagements where heavier make up usually looks nice because of artificial lighting she has been using too much and it only makes her look worn.
DeleteCatherine looks gorgeous. Love the coat dress boots & bag. Catherine does it again impeccable & elegant & stylish. Mary
ReplyDeleteCatherine looks lovely in this day outfit.
ReplyDeleteI love this beautiful green coat, the color is gorgeous and suits the Princess well. The dress looks splendid, a great fit, love the boots with this outfit. The bag is gorgeous. Earrings are lovely.
ReplyDeleteMake up ages a lot. Pity.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit otherwise. Harmonious colours.
Like others I don't like the eye make up.
DeleteCatherine looks fabulous here! Love the green coat paired with the winter white dress and both paired with the brown boots. Her other accessories are also great--the green purse and gold earrings look perfect.
ReplyDeleteJanet
Beautiful coat, and good choice of “ simple” dress not to overwhelm the people she meets.
ReplyDeleteAgain a very balanced and good total look.
Love especially the soft colour of the lipstick,( and I see nothing wrong in the eye make-up)
Mabel
Agree with Mabel.
DeleteMaybe Catherine could lend her coat to the lady in the green dress on photo 6. ;-)
ReplyDeleteShe looks gorgeous as always!
Love the dress with the belt, just adds a little more to the dress. The coat is a no for me, This style makes her look too shapeless and colour is a no, it's the tone of green for me. I think it would have looked nice with a belted coat, like Sophie wore Christmas day. Her bags need to be weighted down a little she does not carry this style of bag well, it is too light in weight.
ReplyDeleteI can't agree. It is nice to see her is a coat that is not so form fitting. Her shape is undeniable, but she has some room like the rest of us do. Sophie would not be the one I would choose as an example because so many of her coats, and dresses, are much too long.
