Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary's twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine are celebrating their twelfth birthday today. The Danish Royal Court released new photos of the Prince and Princess on the occasion of the birthday. Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine were born on January 8, 2011 at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen.
Lovely clear portraits of the twins. Children’s looks can change as they grow. At this point in time, Josephine now strongly resembles her Mother and Vincent his Father.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful children! A perfect mixture of their parents!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of both Josephine and Vincent. Birthday greetings to them both 🥳
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos. They are both adorable.
ReplyDeleteVincent still looks the same as when he was younger. Josephine is changing into a beautiful young lady
ReplyDeleteYes, my opinion, too. But both children are lovely.

I agree that Josephine favors her mother and Vincent his father. They are beautiful children. I love that Josephine is wearing pearls! It's hard to believe that they will soon be teenagers.
ReplyDeleteTwo lovely portraits of two delightful children.
ReplyDeleteHappy 12th Birthday to Ps. Josephine and P. Vincent. Where do the years go?

Happy Birtday to two beautiful kids.
ReplyDeleteMake the best of the last of your 'baby' years (cuddles, kisses etc) as you are only a hop, step and jump away from being teenagers.
Adorables sur ces portraits ; bon et heureux anniversaire à tous les deux !
ReplyDeleteHappiest of 12th Birthdays to the Danish Royal Twins, Princess Josephine + Prince Vincent. They are growing up with a fresh natural approach to life. I recently saw a segment where Crown Princess Mary was with Josephine + Vincent as they were attending a School Fair. One of Josephine’s school friends called out her name from afar + Josephine literally skipped over to her with a spontaneous joyfulness as they hadn’t seen one another for a month. The girls hugged one another tightly, laughing + smiling away. She looked over to her mom, hoping to stay with her friends, but her mom, Mary, nodded a sympathetic shrug indicating not this time. Josephine said her goodbyes, ran back to her mom, linked arms with her + continued on. It was such a beautiful sight. It showed the normalcy of friendships. Mary has coped exceptionally well transitioning as an Australian to a Danish Crown Princess, mastering the language, culture, lifestyle as well as Royalty protocol. I can’t imagine it’s been an easy journey, yet she always appears with gracefulness, patience, respect, poise, gentleness, genuine compassion, much like Princess of Wales, Catherine + Countess of Wessex, Sophie.
ReplyDeleteI read an article recently comparing the new royal princesses (and Queens e.g Queen Maxima, Queen Letizia ) who didn’t come from royal stock and how they've had to adapt and integrate into their new role ; the problems and challenges confronting them etc.
DeleteWhen it came to Princess Mary there wasn’t much to say because they stated, “she was born for the job”.
Very natural looking children❤️. You must be Danish and read a Danish magazine with
Deleteall the story details about Josephine 😌 /M.
