On December 8, Dutch Queen Maxima visited the OBS De Globe school in Haarlem, one of the participant in the largest school band in the Netherlands. As in previous years, eleven schools are participating in the 2022 Christmas Music Gala. The Christmas Music Gala involves performances by the largest school band in the Netherlands consisting of children from all provinces. The Queen is honorary chair of More Music in Classroom platform.
I think she looks really good here. Monochrome is always flattering to Q. Max as it allows her exuberant personality to shine. I would have chosen a light grey or light beige for the coat and sweater rather than dark green, but overall it’s a good outfit, nicely accessorized. PLUS, good hair! (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteAnd, the pantsuit looks warm and cosy.
DeleteSpecial song chunga-changa for boy Yosa and girl Kaska :)))
DeleteActually, why not.
ReplyDeleteI love the fit of this pantsuit. The jacket and pants look good, form fitting. Not so keen on the color, but regardless the Queen looks fabulous. What a wonderful visit. The look on the children's faces, giving the Queen a hug, priceless. She always takes enthusiasm and vitality to all her visits. She is always such a breath of fresh air.
ReplyDeleteI like this look on her. The color isn't what you would think first in a suit, but it works for her. I just wish she'd freshen her makeup, that orange blush/bronzer isn't her friend. Simple ponytail works.

I agree
DeleteI love the chartreuse suit on Maxima and the tone of the green turtle neck underneath goes very well. To me this outfit is most suitable for a school visit.
ReplyDeleteAs for the coat, I like it very much as well, but not with the other two greens. The green/blue of the coat clashes with the rest of the outfit. A Burgundy or dark red coat (which she has) would have looked better. However seeing as she didn't have the coat on for long, it doesn't bother me much. Once again, Maxima's exuberance and smiles with the children wins the day for me. The children seemed to enjoy having her there as well.

The children at this event seem thrilled to have their Queen in their presence, and singing along with them too! Very touching. I think QMax was dressed appropriately for the event. The apple green pant suit was just the right length and fit her very well, and the dark green turtleneck blouse (or sweater) and overcoat was a good match. The red-haired and red-booted lady in black in the first picture looked very stylish.
ReplyDeleteI love her for using bright and eye catching colors. Lights up the darkness in December.( together with her smile of course). When there is a post of Maxima I always click on that post first - she is never boring to look at.
ReplyDeleteSame here:-)) Siv
ReplyDeleteMuch better fitted pantsuit and the color is eyecatching. Lovely look for Mavima. Looks like a fun event to attend.

Super cool suit
ReplyDeleteThe color, the fit. That must be another Natan.
ReplyDeleteWhat an ugly dress
ReplyDeleteOne can't miss her. Maxima can wear just about anything and look good. css
ReplyDeleteThis color makes my eyes hurt—just can’t. But, as usual, Maxima saves every appearance with her positive and exuberant personality. I give her full credit for this. She seems to love people—small and large!
ReplyDeleteAppearantly, the whole idea of the visit for many is how she looks like instead why she even decided to be there. Let's forget about the black guy teaching those kids right ??
ReplyDeleteI'm sold! Not a colour I would want in my wardrobe, but Maxima makes it work & I think it's a fun choice for a school full of young kids. I also love the ponytail. But the best thing is her gorgeous smile! You can't help but be happy when you see her out and about!
