The first details of the wedding of Princess Alexandra, the only daughter of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, have been shared by the Grand Ducal Court. According to the statement, Princess Alexandra will marry Nicolas Bagory in the spring of 2023. As a tradition in Luxembourg, the wedding will include two ceremonies. The first, that is, the civil wedding, will take place at Luxembourg Town Hall on April 22, 2023.
The religious ceremony will be held a week later. Princess Alexandra and Nicolas Bagory will exchange vows at St. Tryomphe’s Church in Bormes-les-Mimosas in the south of France. Princess Alexandra and Nicolas Bagory announced their engagement in November 2022.
Lovely discreet couple. Wish them well. Stephanie’s baby is due in April—it’s all about timing, which can be unpredictable with babies. Hopefully, we’ll see the whole family at one or both events.
ReplyDeleteLovely to have another royal wedding this year.
ReplyDeleteI’m curious about the choice of church though. It’s nothing special, I know this area very well. If getting married in the south of France / Provence, there are plenty of secluded and very lovely churches to choose from. Why opting for this church inside the village of Borme-le-Mimosas is beyond me. It hasn’t got a lovely entrance. Has this church or village a special meaning for the happy couple?
However, I wish them all the best.

Don't they have a summer home in that area? Maybe it's the church they worship at when staying there.
DeleteHow lovely. She will be a beautiful bride.
ReplyDeleteWill be looking forward to April of this year. They make a nice couple. css
ReplyDeleteIls forment vraiment un charmant petit couple qui ne fait pas beaucoup de bruit. Vivement la fin du mois d'avril afin de voir des photos du mariage sous le soleil de Provence !
ReplyDeleteI am a little heartbroken. I have confirmed that no cameras will be allowed inside in Civil Wedding or the religious wedding. Therefore the only photos that will be available to the Public will be the photos taken outside. I had so enjoyed the photos of the inside of the Civil Wedding and subsequent religious Weddings for Guillaume/Stehpanie and Felix/Claire. I am just a "fan" but those films of the actual services allow me an connection to the happiness and joy of the couples and families. Let's be honest, we do not know much of the Groom nor of the connection between the future Bride and Groom. It will not be the same to be a "drive by" observer and without the emotion of being a part of this wonderful occasion.
