  1. Catherine is doing so great on this trip, and looks wonderful. But this isn't my favorite dress (too prim!)

The dress is very nice, simple and not fussy, it fits Katherine well, it is a good choice for the occasion but my only negative comment is the length, I don't understand why she keeps on wearing all her clothes mid calf, she his young and has beautiful legs!!

    1. Totally agree. The lenght of the dress looks dowdy.

    2. I agree with you totally. I think the dress is great but why not have it a few inches shorter?

I think she keeps the length for warmth and modesty given the academic environment. Just my guess. Alternative would be a suit?

It's most likely to visually lengthen her body & make herself look even thinner than she already is. No room to eat even half a leaf of lettuce. "You can never be too rich or too thin", according to the late Wallis, Duchess of Windsor. *Regina

    5. Agree. The dress should have been a bit shorter. But then she looks very good anyway!

Very nice. Just wish it would have been a round neck, without the collar. But the PoW looks great anyway. css

I also find the collar too prim. A plain round neck would have been more elegant and mature. Ladyofthemanor

  5. Nah, this is not good. The pattern is a bit too much, almost dizzying, the darts and seams (although well executed) almost become the focus as there is nothing else for the eye to rest on. The dress is way too long, the colour is drab, the lightblue bag a total mismatch. Also, I really think a coat was necessary to complete this outfit. The people in their winter attire indicate that it wasn´t warm exactly. (And I realise that they were probably waiting for hours and needed to keep warm whereas she was out only briefly before continuing on in a limousine. It´s december in Boston - you wear a coat.)

She dresses very appropriately for her age, and the style is always unexpected.

  7. This is a beautiful dress, streamlined and elegant. I love the style and length of this dress. Apparently the fabric has flecks of blue, hence the blue of the bag, clever choice and looks fabulous. Her hair and makeup look fabulous. I liked her earrings, very much. Its heartwarming to see the welcome she got.

I don’t think this dress is particularly flattering on P. Catherine. To me it’s too tight, too long, and the high collar looks as though it’s strangling her. I much prefer the plaid dress she wore earlier in the visit. (V.M.)

The dress pattern is black and white. Wonder why her bag is not a coordinating color. The color of the bag does nothing for her outfit.
    She is lovely and slim.

    1. The dress is azure blue and black. It's not white. The bag matches beautifully.

The dress is three colors, black, white and blue. It also was originally sleeveless.

The pattern on the dress is lightblue and black, hence the lightblue bag. The model a kind of oldfashioned governess’s.
If anyone could wear it, it is Catherine.
I think she looks great ( and she handle the situation as a professional),

  11. Ses courbes de rêve supportent à merveille ce style de robe même s'il est un peu trop long sans oublier le col qui semble l'étouffer ; un manteau 3/4 n'aurait pas été superflu !

Love this look--clean, neat, and very much in the Princess Professional Wheelhouse. Catherine looks perfect here and I so glad to see she is getting a chance to pursue her major focus on child development in the early years during her time in Boston.

  13. Vestido de instritutriz, demasiado serio para una mujer joven.
