  1. The scarf is great and elevates this otherwise very nice and well-tailored, but not especially memorable, outfit. I'd have changed the color of the pants to match the dark portion of the sweater, or to a very dark grey -- the green doesn't make sense to me -- but this is a win for Sophie. -- Jane

    1. Yes, I agree. I’m just not seeing a coordinated outfit here. C. Sophie desperately needs a stylist to make sense of her wardrobe. (V.M.)

    2. I’m of the opposite thought. I love the green trousers with the grey coat and the blue scarf. As for the top, I’m fine with it being dark and likewise, I wouldn’t have minded if she had chosen a fresh colour, such as either a soft lemon. I rather like that Sophie, Countess of Wessex doesn’t follow the expected fashion trends and that she appears to wear whatever combination she fancies at the time. I realise she would put a great deal of thought in to what to mix and match, as any person in the public arena needs to, but the fact that she thinks outside the square with many of her choices tends to speak to her individual niche that is Sophie.

  2. Le foulard ou écharpe cache trop le haut que je vois bleu-marine ; le manteau est élégant mais je l'imagine boutonné !

  3. Troppi colori senza senso, solo scarpe e cappotto abbinati.

  7. Nice scarf and beautiful coat. She looks great. I however don't get the green trouser, something is off.

  8. IMO, a different scarf that included the same green as the pants would have pulled these separate pieces together.

Not a fan of the green trousers. The Countess has used green pants before which imo has ruined otherwise nice outfits. Sometimes you don't need three colors.

  11. Nice to see the Countess smiling again, her usual happy loving self. Her outfit is perfect for the occasion.
Not like at the Palace the other night, very sad. Now I know why after what K Charles has done to her and Edward, very poor move on the Kings behalf. They both do a wonderful job.
