Queen Letizia attended the 20th anniversary event of the Local Network of Technical Labor Offices (OTL) of the Barcelona Provincial Council. The Local Network of Labor Technical Offices, coordinated by the Barcelona Provincial Council, has been working for 20 years to promote the employment of people with a mental health disorder in the province.
The 18 offices that make up the OTL Network are the only public job placement centers in the province specialized in this field of activity and they cover 100% of the population. Thereafter, the Queen visited the facilities of the Specialized Hospitalization Unit for people with Intellectual Disabilities (UHEDI) of the Parc Sanitari in Barcelona.

It's not my favourite look on QL, just because the trousers looks IMO a little baggy on the hips and I think that a larger belt would look nice, but at same time the all look is elegant and professional. And as a plus, I love her earrings and shoes, there are a great additions to this look.
ReplyDeleteA mon humble avis, Letizia aurait eu encore plus d'allure si elle avait su combiner le pull, le pantalon de cuir rouge à une petite veste/boléro !
ReplyDeleteAgree.
DeleteQué horror!
ReplyDeleteIf it had been a red leather skirt (pencil or A-line), sure, why not. But red leather trousers - forever no.
ReplyDeleteAgree. Red leather pants - not even Laetitia can wear them
DeleteI am not a fan of leather pants, but Queen Letizia really looks fabulous. She wears this outfit with flair and confidence. The red color suits her beautifully. I read somewhere that her normal dresser is on maternity leave. Interesting her choice of attire lately. Love the dark red shoes. This sounds like a great initiative and terrific that the Queen is supporting it.
ReplyDeleteNot an outfit I would wear, for a work event. This is not a bad combination for a private event. css
ReplyDeleteIn Spain lot of women wear them to work, I do not know how people dress in your country, actually for a private event people wear jeans and sneakers.
DeleteJust vow. -Siri
ReplyDeleteNo to the pants! Maybe for a private family/friends gathering, but not for a royal appearance. Just NO.
ReplyDeleteMaybe in your country, in Spain leather pants are on fashion to the Office, private gathering? Actually, sneakers, cut out jeans, etc...Our "royals" are normal people,.
DeleteTotally agree, Anon 22 21. The outfit is overly casual, comparing it with what the others are wearing. It looks to me like something one might wear for lunch with friends. It’s certainly does not appear professional to me. A rare miss for Queen Letizia
DeleteThe outfit is not casual for Spain, It seems that in other countries people wear hats and jewels as their "royals" in the engagements in the normal life and in the office, so most of them are overdressed and ridículous, nobody dress like that nowadays, they do not represent "people".
DeleteTacky !!
ReplyDelete¡¡Grosera!!
DeleteI wouldn't neccesarily want those trousers in my own wardrobe, but I like Letizia's outfit. It's a good example for a modern monochrome look and if anyone can pull these trousers off, it's someone with her figure. I always adored Letizia for wearing suits and trousers to official engagements, because let's face it, they're just A LOT more practical than pencil skirts or coat dresses.
ReplyDelete-Nika-
The trousers are awful and tacky, but they're her style and they suit her.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan to tight pullovers on busty women either. They look a tad vulgar.
Nora
She looks fantastic - love the slightly fuller cut of the trousers.
