  1. Business look with a twist (leather and studs), typical Queen Letizia, and very good too. Plain grey might have been a better choice for the trousers though.

  2. Pretty ironic that in a conference on gender equality, only one woman besides the Queen is pictured amongst a sea of men.

    1. Actually, It is about "Jurist", not about "gender Equality", and we are in Spain to the back teeth about the Minister of Equality, Who an idiot.

    2. Those were my thoughts also. I kept looking for the women jurists.

  3. She´s really into leather, isn´t she?
There is no doubt she can wear that kind of outfit, however, I think she had better saved it for some night out clubbing than a jurisdiction summit. The studs in particular have no place at that summit.
I can imagine that Letizia chose this to underscore the empowerment of women given the context of this event, but then again, I wonder if that really is conveyed well by making a statement through an outfit? Women have fought hard to not be reduced to their appearances.
I don´t think her studded leather top was a good choice, although I will unreservedly give her that both the silhouette and the colour choices are on point.

    1. In Spain "leather", actually "polipiel" is on trend this year and many women wear It. Nobody would wear this to a "club" nowadays, It is an outfit for mature women,. Actually, the Minister of Equality of Spain would fight with you as she dresses in leather most of the time.

  5. I love the leather top! The metal spikes give it a bit of an edgy vibe, while the peplum model is very classic. Leather combines beuatifully with the woolen fabric of the trousers Lovely shoes and a vibrant red coat. For me this is Leatitia at her best.

    2. Yes, I love this too. It’s an outfit with a great deal of style, and it suits Q. Letitia perfectly. Adding one somewhat edgy element (the top) really complements the classic coat and trousers. (V.M.)

  8. This is a wonderful color combination, love this outfit. The leather top is unusual, the studwork adding interest. The pants are great, fit perfectly. Splash of color with her red jacket, perfect finishing touch. Love the diamond crawler earrings.

  9. I don't like how she's mixed the top, trousers and coat. Something doesn't quite work. Probably the top, it doesn't really go with the rest of the outfit.

Her new haircut is really good, I like it. Not sure about her makeup. It looks harsh and makes her look older than she is

    1. There are many beautiful pictures on Getty images that contradict this. Strange how the same opinion pops up daily elsewhere. She looks neither old nor harsh.

  11. I love Letizia in leather as much as I love her in red. Wow, she wears it well. she looks like a boss babe here. She has taken her seat in the front row amongst the men in their power suits and looking every bit the lady in her leather and studs, menswear-plaid trousers, and heels she stands on her own.

  13. Love the red coat, though I wish she had worn it properly. Don’t often like Queen Letizia’s leather outfits but this looks great. The black and grey with the red coat look smart and business like but with an edge. Very glad that although there are grey threads in her hair, the strange white stripe has gone.

  14. My 1st thought was 'what a boss look for a summit of women jurists'. Then I saw all the men there, and then thought, well, she 1) looks spectacular in that leather, and 2)where are all the women? Maybe I'm missing a cultural difference. But I love her leather look, and that red coat is icing on the cake!

  15. This color combination is beautiful. The pants seem to be woven from a combination of black and gray thread. The peplum leather top and length of the pants as well as the high heels have the effect of lengthening her legs. The red wrap coat is a few years old, but still stylish.
There is an aura of lightness about QL today. She is beautiful.
Leather is on trend in Spain. Across town at a meeting that the king was having at about the same time, there was a lady dressed in the identical leather top, another lady in a black leather dress, and the lady minister wore a black leather skirt. QL is a woman of her time.

  18. Love her eyecatching red coat. I only wish she would wear overcoat properly instead of her usual on-the-shoulders-style. Her top and grey trouser look lovely. Leather can be tricky to wear but Letizia seem to love it and she knows she looks good in it :D
