On November 19, Luxembourg celebrates the National Tree Day. This year, 50 beech trees have been planted in Fischbach, one of the 12 municipalities of the Mullerthal Region (Mullerthal UNESCO Global Geopark), with the participation of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie and Prince Charles.
The initiative, launched 31 years ago by the Fondation Hëllef fir d’Natur (natur&ëmwelt asbl), aims to raise the awareness of public about the protection of biodiversity, which is based, in part, on reforestation.
Little Charles planting a tiny tree is too sweet! The whole family looks terrific in their forest walk garb and so happy. Like Stephanie’s wellies and even her hair is well done for this event.
ReplyDeleteAgree. This is one adorable family!
DeleteTrue. Little Charles is cute. Happy family.

Oh, how delightful. Little Charles what a sweet little boy. This is a lovely family outing.
ReplyDeleteIndeed!!
DeleteWhat a beautiful family! Such great photos!
ReplyDeleteLittle Prince cutie, helping with tree planting. It is always a treat so see him. His parents sure look happy. Like Stephanies jacket.
ReplyDeleteLittle Prince Charles in his little boots planting a little tree! How precious. And there's another toddler participating in this wonderful cause. If all parents taught their children the importance of trees, the world would be in better shape.
ReplyDeleteQuelle magnifique famille de sortie ; elle devrait être citée en exemple particulièrement quand on voit le prince Charles qui est trop craquant en train de planter son petit arbre !
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love seeing this family, and what a great outing. Sweet Charles planting trees, how cute! Everyone looks great in their outdoor attire.

I cannot understand why such a young and engaged person as Stephanie is wearing fur. It is very clear that this is real fur and even when it is not real it is not done.
ReplyDeleteI for one think that fur is quite sustainable.
DeleteHow is it very clear? Looks like a standard fake fur trim to me. And some people do still wear fur.
DeleteHow can you tell it's not faux fur?
DeleteShe doesn't have to dance to your tone.
