Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark are making a three-day working visit to Vietnam together with a large Danish business delegation. On the first day of their visit, the Crown Prince and Crown Princess visited the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi. As is tradition in Vietnam, the Crown Prince couple visited the mausoleum prior to the official reception.
Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark were then officially received by Vietnam's Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan at the government building in Hanoi. Afterwards, President of Vietnam Nguyễn Xuân Phúc received the Crown Prince and Crown Princess at the Presidential Palace.
Thereafter, the Crown Prince and Crown Princess attended the opening of the Danish-Vietnamese business conference in Hanoi, where more than 36 Danish companies are participating. The Crown Prince and Princess then attended an official lunch at the government building, hosted by Vietnam's Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
Stunning dress on Mary! Perfect look for Vietnam’s warm and muggy weather. Fred looks dashing as well! MR
ReplyDeleteI agree! Love this dress, and Mary is beautiful.
DeleteJ'aime beaucoup ce modèle en dentelle mais je l'aurais bien vue dans une couleur vive !
ReplyDeleteNo, I think, its perfect like this. Another colour, like pink or yellow or green/ blue would habe been too much.

Very chic, Mary.

I agree
DeleteLove guipure lace and the dress is very pretty with a perfect fit. The presidents traditional dress is really very beautiful.

Bello il vestito in pizzo e anche il modello, ma non mi piace che si veda il sottogonna più corto rispetto all'orlo del vestito.

The lining should have the same length as the dress.
ReplyDeleteI do not think so. It is knee length and it is nice to see the guipure lace. Ladyofthemanor

DeleteI agree too. The short lining is bothering me, especially since the unlined part of the skirt is so broad. Had it been only 5 or max 10cm, it had been fine. I can get behind the concept of an unlined bit as it mirrors the equally unlined parts in bodice & sleeves, but the very short lining (almost miniskirt length) takes away from the otherwise very elegant dress and cheapens it.
Delete*Edit (now that I´m thinking about it): I think it would be best to not only make the lining a bit longer but also make the overlay a bit shorter, making it a knee-length dress and the overlay extending only slightly beyond the lining.
Another day and another fantastic outfit. She looks great!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very pretty white lace dress. IMO the underskirt should be at the length of the hem, minor quibble. I do love the blue dress, in the 6th photo, this looks splendid, the flowers are very tastefully embellished, elegant and stylish.
ReplyDeleteCP Marry is a stunner, what a chic dress. The blue dress of the hostess is beautiful as well. As I can see Ho Chi Minh is watching. css
ReplyDeleteGorgeous--CP Mary and her dress!!! Great photos of the CP couple together by the water.

Perfect dress .

The white dress is elegant, smart and, as usual, CP Mary looks great. The blue dress worn by the Vietnamese Vice President is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress on Mary. Fred looks a little untidy JJ
