On November 21, 2022, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, together with Aurora Workshop, visited the National Museum in Oslo to hand over a dress to museum collection. The Crown Princess had worn that dress in June 2022 when she attended the official dinner held to mark the opening of the New National Museum. 1. The pink hand-woven dress was designed by Norwegian fashion designer Peter Dundas. Simply gorgeous!

  2. The colors of the coat/outfit are refreshing as we enter winter and very much compliment MM’s coloring. I love the pattern of the coat as well, but would prefer if it was knee length instead of floor length. Love that she is shining a light on such a great cause!

    1. Yes the length of the coat is not really appropriate for the design.

    2. Agree. Love the coat but wish it was knee length. Her make-up is spot on.

  3. Mette-Marit looks beautiful in these bright colors! The fabric pattern is interesting and fun to examine. I wish that the coat had been shorter but that might be related to pattern origin. Also have to mention her makeup, which is very well done with some lip color and eye enhancement.

  4. Mette-Marit porte une variété de couleurs dont le rose fuchsia qui domine ; avec ses cheveux ondulés et son manteau un peu plus court, elle serait vraiment au top !

  6. A very lovely coat. PS MM looks great. I remember this pink gown she donated to the Museum; just do not remember the event she wore it. css

  7. Wow that is an original coat. But I like it. She is tall and elegant and wears it well. She looks like a winter princess

  8. So nice flamboyant. I like that very much. She looks great. Nice blonde hair btw, so difficult to dye without yellowish traces. Frieda

  9. The coat/dress is amazing, but it looks too big on her, I think.

  10. Nice coat. Refreshingly different but unfortunately too long. At this length, it´s overkill.

  11. This coat looks wonderful, gorgeous colors. The workmanship is exquisite. She carries this coat off well, especially with her height. I like the bright pink top she is wearing underneath. I can remember the gown she has donated, but cannot remember the event she wore it to?

  13. I love the color and pattern of CP Mette-Marit's coat but, like others, I think a shorter version might be better. Her pink sweater and white pants/skirt(?) coordinate well with the coat. Her hair and makeup look very nice. I think the donation of her pink gown is very generous and I'm sure The National Museum was thrilled.

  15. I absolutely love this coat. The colors suit her, and her makeup looks gorgeous. I can see why some don't like the length, I think it's great with this pattern. The pink sweater underneath is the perfect touch.

  16. The print of the coat is fabulous, the length makes it look like a blanket. Unfortunate!

  17. Bella principessa delle nevi, ma il cappotto per me è troppo lungo.

  18. I'm not entirely sold on the floor-length design (simply because I guess it's very impractical), but the craftmanship is wonderful and the colours suit M-M very well.

  19. Who is the designer, is the coat from Aurora Workshop as well? I usually don't like heavy prints, but this coat has gorgeous colors and looks perfect on the tall Crown Princess. I get some wonderful Scandinavian winter wonderland vibes - love it! Jane

  20. The coat is stunning. To me it has an ethnic touch about it.
But like a lot of other boggers, I’d prefer the length to be a little shorter.
    For example, a ¾ length.
Nice to see her supporting this cause. She has a beautiful smile. .
