On November 22, Crown Princess Mary visited Herlev Hospital together with the hospital clowns, Sally and Viola. Danish Hospital Clowns (Danske Hospitalsklovne) support hospitalized children and their families, and with the bedtime visits, the children can now also have stories read to them by the clowns before they go to sleep.
The team involved in the project does not consist of volunteers, but on professionals who benefit from tailor-made hospital clown training, which is internationally recognized and takes 1 - 1/2 years to complete. Currently, the Danish Hospital Clowns visit more than 30.000 children who are admitted to Denmark every year.

Oh, what a marvellous visit. Not only bringing support but care and laughter on her visit, well done to the CP. I love the bright pink jumper. The black pants are a wonderful addition and fit her well.
