King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema, accompanied by Prince Jigme Namgyel and Prince Jigme Ugyen, attended the Tshechu Festival in Panbang town in central Bhutan. Tshechu (literally "day ten") are religious festivals in which sacred dances are performed by monks, representing gods and deities. The three-day festival comprises of a variety of mask dances and cultural items for entertainment.
The Tshechu held at Soenamcholing Dratshang since 1997 began this year on November 12. A tshechu is any of the annual religious Bhutanese festivals held in each district or dzongkhag of Bhutan on the tenth day of a month of the lunar Tibetan calendar, and the month depends on the place. Tshechus are religious festivals of the Drukpa Lineage of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism.
Trop mignons les petits princes ; qu'est-ce qu'ils ont grandi. Je ne me lasse pas d'admirer la reine Jetsun Pema qui est vraiment une magnifique jeune femme !

DeleteThe Q lovely as always/ css
ReplyDeleteQueen Jetsun Pema is so beautiful. Her gowns are always colorful and perfectly tailored. This lilac color coordinates with the prints used in her sons' robes. The little princes have grown quite a bit since we last saw them. The dancers' costumes are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteThe traditional gowns are stunning, the colors are a beautiful array of tones and shades, very beautiful, combined. The tailoring is splendid.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ava; you have summed it up well.
DeleteI agree.
And those two litttle princes are just too cute for words.
