  1. Both first ladies look so good and again they are in two different shades of the same colour. Pink today and blue yesterday. I wonder if there is any kind of discreet consultations between their staff.
I love these unadorned, exquisitely tailored outfits. No need for belts, jewellery, scarves etc. Less is more!

    1. Ladyofthemanor, I could not have said it better. Lovely ladies (and handsome king).

  2. Exactly! And yes, there is communication before a state visit regards clothes and colours

  3. Letizia a l'air d'aimer cette couleur rose qui est à l'opposé de celle de Madame Budenbender élégante dans un ton plus doux ; un petit haut et des chaussures de couleur noire le complètent agréablement !

  4. I love the first lady's pink pant suit. She looks 10 years younger.

  5. Another simple but gorgeous dress. The wine dress worn by the lady in the Art gallery is nice too. The short trousers on the First Lady’s trouser suit totally spoil it for me. AnnieM

  6. What a gorgeous look. The cut and the color. Just exquisite. She is in a league of her own. And the shoes and the cute little handbag… wow. Perfect autumn look. The mix pink/beige works so well.

  7. This looks like a dull and dreary day. The ladies seem to be very positively inspired by the queen's style. The mayoress of the capital knocked it out of the park like Letizia.

  8. Now THAT'S how you do pink! I honestly want this dress <3

  9. This is how you do bright colors, with a sober silhouette and nothing to make it overdone. Beautiful combination with the coat, shoes are also on point, and the bag adds interest. The First Lady knocks it outs of the park, love her pantsuit. The Mayor is very well dressed as well, except I find her dress and coat a little too short for my taste.

  12. I understand that Queen Letizia has medical problems with her feet, in which case I simply do not understand why she wears such extreme high heels, they would kill me in such circumstances.

    1. Virginia, I totally agree. I really like Letizia and adore her style, but I don't understand why she still wears those high heels. There are other shoes that are elegant as well without having such a high hell!
