On October 6, Queen Maxima visited the exhibition Kòrsou – Curaçao at the National Archives in The Hague. The exhibition sketches a picture of the history and present of the island on the basis of documents and archives, in combination with photos, audio fragments and interviews by documentary maker and photographer Selwyn de Wind.

She is a very attractive woman, but someone PLEASE help her with her hair!
ReplyDeleteI am definitaly sure that she know she gets criticism about her hair but she doesn't care and just does how she wants it. At once side she is right. Do what you feel good with.
DeleteAnd clothes….
DeletePurtroppo ha capelli molto fini, però apprezzo che spesso li lascia al naturale.
DeleteRossella
I agree with Iris.
DeleteMe too agree with Iris, maybe she does feel good and isn't that the most important of all! Aggie
DeleteOutfit should make you look good and I don't see that here in Maxima's trousers and top.
ReplyDeleteAva
Bel ensemble très bien ceinturé mais un tissu plus fluide aurait plus avantagé son haut et de plus, uni de couleur Nude !
ReplyDeleteLooks like she's wearing a pup tent.
ReplyDeleteKim
I have to agree. I couldnt find the words to use, but you did! Hair a dismal mess, same as always. Anne
DeleteQuesto outfit è già visto e come allora confermo che non mi piace l’insieme delle due stampe, a me dà fastidio agli occhi!
ReplyDeleteRossella
What should we do will all this fabric?? Natan asked
ReplyDeleteLet's give it to Maxima, she will maximizer it!
Luna
Another clown outfit from Natan, to go along with her awful hair. But of course, she's smiling so all is forgiven.
ReplyDeletePlease get help. What was Q Maxima thinking? This is a horror outfit. She is a beautiful lady, why is she doing this to herself? css
ReplyDeleteThe two separate prints clash. The top might work better with less fabric of the sleeves.
ReplyDeleteThought the outfit was okay in the first pic but there’s just too much fabric in the top. Trousers and shoes are fine. AnnieM
ReplyDeleteNo saving grace for this outfit. I don’t understand why would you combine such voluminous top with wide leg pants. She is tall and has a good figure, why would she want to look like an tent?
ReplyDeleteCherry
Since Maxima is tall and elegant I think that she actually manages to look good in this horrible outfit. Anybody else would have looked ridiculous. Like most of you I really don’t get it why Natan is so popular.
ReplyDeleteAgree, but Natan has good designs too. Look carefully at Queen Mathilde who's wearing sometimes wonderful clothes of Natan. Máxima likes extravagance. Sometimes that works well and sometimes it's awful like this ensemble

DeleteDon't bother to explain dear, you and me we know that Queen Mathilde is wearing sometimes clothes by Natan (especially those made according to her measurements and not from the prêt à porter series) which are really wonderful. On this blog there are people who constantly break down Queen Mathilde as soon as she appears in something by Natan and lately more and more also when she is wearing Carolina Herrera, Dries Van Noten, Johanna Ortiz, Dior, Armani, Gian Battista Valli, etc... She belongs now to the group of female royals who constantly receive critics : Princess Sofia of Sweden, Queen Maxima, Queen Mathilde, HGD Stéphanie of Luxemburg, and so on. All the other royal ladies with more or less the same body type like the Princess of Wales, Queen Rania of Jordan, Queen Letizia of Spain can't do wrong although some of them are wearing not always the most expensive brands like Queen Letizia of Spain who is buying the majority of her clothes from Spanish street style brands which are more or less cheap and not always of good quality.
What in the world is going on with this outfit? Mismatched, big enough to be a circus tent, with a belt thrown on for good (?) measure. And that is just the clothing. Good grief, this is a queen.

Way too much fabric here!!! I actually like the trousers--they look good on Maxima. She is tall enough to carry off the wide-legged trousers that are so fashionable. But the top!!! The sleeves are ridiculous--they need to be recut and narrowed. I have given up on her hair. She seems to like it as it is--oh well...

I think Q/Maxima has such a big personality that her “big” outfits, like this one, are quite making the grade. I think enough has been said about her hair - not all are blessed with such wonderful hair as the princess of Wales and Q/Letizia. I also see some pictures where Q/Maxima’s hair looks quite kept, but I suspect she often touches her hair or has her hands in her hair during the day - often a result of sitting through long meetings and trying to find solutions. I can quite imagine her often having her hands in her hair as she is more relaxed and not as poised as some royals. Her hair, as often is the case with blond hair, also seems to have a fine texture. When dampness gets to it, it is a battle lost!
ReplyDeleteI admire Q/Maxima for being her own person.

DeleteWith due respect: Queen Maxima doesnot have blond hair,
