On October 13, 2022, Prince and Princess of Wales visited the Copper Box Arena at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London where they took part in an event called Coach Core, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The Coach Core program was launched by the Prince and Princess of Wales and Prince Harry as part of the Royal Foundation in 2012. The Princess wore a blue tweed jacket by Chanel.

Now that’s a fabulous jacket. I love that colour! I’m usually not too fond of longer blazers but this one works very well. Of course its immaculately tailored and enhances the silhouette of the Princess of Wales in a very flattering way.

Kate est élégante dans ce blazer en tweed bleu-roi à double boutonnage bordé d'un passe-poil de couleur noire ; très délicat son petit médaillon que je voudrais mieux voir !
ReplyDeleteShe looks younger every day.
ReplyDeleteChanel is a rare designer in her wardrobe. Thumbs up from Monaco

Her sapphire earrings would have looked great with this jacket.

I agree, that would have looked fabulous. I do love this jacket, and how much she had been wearing blue lately, she looks so good in it. I'm not loving her hair like this for some reason though, maybe all the curls ot the extra long length? But she seems to be aging backwards (I wish I had her skincare regimen LOL)

No, unfortunately I don't like this combination at all. The blazer is not worth the money either. I'm also not sure if these wide flared trousers fit with the blazer. No, that's nothing today. Frieda
ReplyDeleteBut there never is, is there? Can't think of a post where you have ever liked anything.
DeleteOh you're wrong Anonymous14/10/22 06:38, you simply have to read my posts at bit more properly ;-) I am not fond of the combination royalblue and black, the same with red and black. Kates whole outfit is not as wowing as usual for me. But that's my opinion. And just for the records, I already bought some pieces that she wore, for example a dress from Great Plaints, or Reiss and shoes from LK Bennett. Satisfied? Frieda
DeleteOne can’t go wrong with a classic Channel jacket, and this is no exception. Well combined, although it looks a little too snug. I’ve read that it’s vintage 1995, and it’s still available at some specialty websites for five thousand euros. The pants a tad too long, although it seems to be the trend.

Great to see them again. This blue Channel jacket looks good. css
ReplyDeleteI think she's so stylish and gives great thought to what she'll wear for each event.
ReplyDeleteI agree...that's why she always looks great, and why she is a fashion icon. She is just so beautiful in anything she wears.
DeleteI love this jacket hope to find a knock off. Catherine looks immaculate stylish &, elegant. Mary
ReplyDeletePre-owned 1995 Chanel. It means somebody else owned it before her. Well it is certainly environment friendly. The pants are too long.
ReplyDeleteA rare miss for me. I'm not a fan of the black/blue combo and I find those Chanel blazers terribly old-fashioned. The tailoring is impeccable and Kate wears the royal blue well, but the long, fussy jacket and the wide-leg trousers read frumpy for me. She has better suits for sure.

I really like the blazer but with a matching pencil skirt. Besides that it is a very boring look of Kate again with the trousers, it also doesn't do the blazer justice.
ReplyDeleteJust love this jacket. Beautiful colour and great style, as one would expect from Chanel, of course! 😂. Also a fan of the lovely trousers. I’ll take a pair of those, please.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous addition to Catherine's wardrobe!!! Love her in this classic Chanel blazer. This shade of blue is beautiful on her too.

I thought it was gorgeous. I have a similar type jacket that I couldn’t bear to give away. (Not Chanel unfortunately but lovely) I just might wear it with some long black pants. She looked lovely as usual.
ReplyDeleteSorry, my name is Anne.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautifully tailored well fitted jacket, the perfect length, not too long, the color blue is sublime. I love the trousers, I much prefer the Princess wearing these as opposed to the leggings of before. Subtle pieces of jewellery are nice.
ReplyDeleteThis is a blazer for eternity, ageless, put it on and you allways will look good ( as Kate does now!),

Prince William inherited his mother's smile.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see him smile, I see Diana.
They make a handsome couple in their black and blue outfits.
I don't understand the Coach Core programme but it appears to be aimed at the teenage generation; to help them with social problems in big cities.
Her black trousers remind me a bit of Stephanie's...a bit bland and boring, no? :-) The jacket is lovely, though.
ReplyDeleteBe careful with what you are saying, I had about the same reaction not a long time ago. I had to hear a lot of unpleasant remarks because I did compare the trousers of the both of them.
DeleteNo, you didn't @Anon 11.39 - you just had a handful of people disagree with your assessment and they gave you their reasons for doing so. Nobody was unpleasant at all.
DeleteAnonymous @11:39, this is fashion blog, I remember your post which was more of a ridiculous comparison between the 2 and a unnecessary defense for Stephenie, since nobody was attacking her, and NO you didn’t receive “unpleasant” responses, just different points of view and a reminder over and over what should be obvious at this point, that not liking an outfit doesn’t equate not liking a person. You are bent in proving that we are wrong and that Stephanie is a fashion icon, but some do think so .I think you like to start drama.

I find this an elevated version of one of Kate's go-to looks. I would have loved if she had surprised us by wearing this blazer with dark trouser jeans and chunky-heeled boots. The fitted blazer can handle a wider leg. A rich color denim would have been unexpected, yet appropriate for this visit. Kate was really killing it with her hair not so long ago with the center part and stick straight styling. It was a more age appropriate and chic way to wear her hair since she was keeping the length. Reverting back to the curls looks like she is back in her mid-twenties again, and not in a good way.
