In the evening of the last day of their state visit to Lithuania, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde hosted a concert in honor of President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda and First Lady Diana Nausedine at the Grand Concert Hall in Vilnius to thank them for their hospitality during the visit. The concert was given by musicians from La Monnaie and the Belgian National Orchestra.
Giorgio Armani Metallic Leather Applique Jacket
GIORGIO ARMANI Double Layered A-Line Dress
Love the jacket and earrings. So elegant. The dress doesn't photograph well due to the soft shiny fabric. It probably looks better iRL. The first dress shown in the Armani ad is a lot more interesting.

I agree with you. I like the first dress in the ad better. I think it has to do with the texture of the fabric. Queen Mathilde looks very good. I like her earrings and her hair style.
DeleteI agree, less fussy. I’m not a fan of the xtra ruffles on the top, it distracts from the exquisite jacket. The Queen looks lovely, and the hostess’s dress is exquisite. MR
DeleteSpot on comments. Absolutely love this jacket…so chic!!!
DeleteQueen Mathilde looks so much better than during the day. Her hair is done beautifully, lucky she wore that beautiful Armani jacket again. It is the first time we see her wearing the jacket with this dress. The color suit Queen Mathilde very well but there is something wrong with the seams of the dress. It looks like the person who used the sewing machine to sew the seams together pulled too hard on the fabric. Or it has not been ironed like it should be.
ReplyDeleteArmani is much better than Natan.
ReplyDelete@Anon. 12:12 Of course it is. Armani is known in the whole world. Natan has two fashion houses one in Brussels and one in Amsterdam or The Hague (I can't remember exactly where in the Netherlands). There is probably a big difference in the price too.
DeleteTotally Agree!!
ReplyDeleteBoth ladies look great, but neither look does it 100% for me. Mathilde's makeup and hair is fantastic and the structured jacket and shiny accessoires are stunning. The rest of the dress is rather meh - the fabric doesn't photograph well and looks rather like an ill-fitting nightgown. Also not fully on board with the cropped length. The First Lady's hair is also done beautifully, the colour of the dress suits her and I love a swishy skirt, but the top draping and sleeves make her look a bit bulkier than she is.

Fabulous! Armani suits Queen Mathilde. This is one of her best formal looks in a long time. Love her hair and red lip.

I agree! A beautiful outfit for Queen Mathilde.
DeleteThe Armani jacket is fantastic. It makes me think of the clothing of Dutch Designer Iris van Herpen. Tailoring of the dress could be better. And the top of the dress is too busy under the exuberant jacket.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous jacket! I like the outfit well enough, but I’d love to see Q. Mathilde in the dress worn by the model. It has an interesting drape in the front. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteGreat look all around. css
ReplyDeleteThe jacket is a wonderous creation. The skit or dress however is not well fitting, the hemline is not sitting/falling well. It appears ill fitting. The President's wife looked both stylish and elegant. Her up do, looks fabulous, beautifully styled.
ReplyDeleteAgree!!
DeleteThe Queen's jacket is just gorgeous. I'm less impressed by the dress, especially the in between length. The First Lady's dress does her no favours making her look much bigger than I think she is (judging by her previous appearances) Tbh, both dresses are disappointingly bland.
ReplyDeleteThe first lady's dress is not very elegant. Too wide, sad color. Weird use of the fabric on the bodice.
ReplyDeleteGreat look of Queen Mathilde - very elegant!
