Silvias klänning 👏👏👏
ReplyDeleteJa så fin 😊
DeleteOh yes! The dress is amazing!!!
DeleteI would have appreciated Queen Margrethe wearing a black dress. Besides that everybody looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteShe did not need to wear a black dress, in my opinion she very graciously scaled back her celebrations which was more than enough. I congratulate Queen Margrethe, she looked wonderful. Alyski
DeleteWhy? She's celebrating her Jubilee - it's a joyous occasion. She made various changes to acknowledge Queen Elizabeth's passing.
DeleteQue de belles robes même si je préfère celle de couleur corail de la reine Margrethe ; cela donne un dernier coup de pep's avant de terminer la saison estivale !
ReplyDeleteThis is too much of everything.. Ever heard of ”less is more”? Fancy dress party!
ReplyDeleteEver heard of a royal gala to celebrate a milestone throne anniversary?
DeleteSilvia top, fantastica!
ReplyDeleteThe three Scandinavian Queens looked absolutely stunning. Nice to see them all together again in full gala, dripping in jewels to die for!
ReplyDeleteAny idea who is the designer of the dress the young lady in the 7th photo is wearing ?
ReplyDeleteMary looks perfect as always. Gorgeous dress that she wears like no one else can. In my opinion the more mature women steal the show here. They look much more elegant than the younger royal ladies.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best looks of Queen Silvia .
ReplyDeleteAva
Mary looks sublime! I read that Marie is wearing one of her mother’s dresses, and it does look a little dated on her tiny frame.
ReplyDeleteIsabella seems to be taking to these events with great confidence!
HMQ looks lovely in red!
From the older generation, apart from Queen Margrethe herself, it is Queen Silvia of Sweden who is the best dressed. From the younger generation it is Princess Isabella's red dress that I prefer. Queen Margrethe's red dress fits her very well and goes well together with her silver hair. Since her hairline has moved backwards on her head, she could wear her hair partly on her forehead which is a solution for older women with thin hair. There are a lot of princesses among the guests I've heard of, but I don't know who is who ? In Denmark one is generous in distributing medals : the princes Nikolai and Felix are wearing a lot of them. What have they achieved already to earn so much decorations ?
ReplyDeleteEverybody looks fabulous. I loved Marie's blue lace, something vintage about it and almost Spanish. Mary is stunning, as always. 15 year old Isabella is a beauty and will mature into a stunner. Christian looks like the perfect future King. Darling Nordic Royals.
ReplyDeleteAs it always will be: life goes on and is full of contrasts.
ReplyDeleteExuberant Margaretha and her guests celebrated her 50th anniversary on the throne.
Everybody well- and festive dressed: I hope they had a wonderful evening,
Mabel
Does anyboy know what all the medals worn by Felix and Nicolai are representing?
ReplyDeleteCP Mary looks stunning, in this repeat gown, beautiful design. Queen Silvia looks fabulous, a gorgeous gown, she looked beautiful. All the royal ladies looked divine in there evening wear and jewels.
ReplyDeleteMargrethe, Silvia, Mary, and Anne-Marie all look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThis is a rare occasion that I really don´t like what Benedikte is wearing - too pale for her, silver and beige (gold?) don´t work together, the lace overlay is a bit like a curtain, and the weird jewellery doesn´t help.
And while I think that Isabella looks beautiful, I find this gala debut of her a bit too sexy. Her appearance reminds me of princess Madeleine´s first or second Nobel gala, for which she chose a rather low-cut bright red gown, by media later referred to as the "Baywatch-dress". Madeleine was 20 at the time, Isabella is only 15.
Glam and glitter, how nice to see so many Tiaras and beautiful gowns. A half a Century on the Throne. Glad to see life is back to normal. Hope everyone had the best of time. css
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia looked stunning; her gown was perfection. The amethyst jewels so beautiful. Her gorgeous fabric covered evening bag was the perfect finishing touch. CP Mary's repeat gown as always looks beautiful.
ReplyDeletePrincess Isabella is growing into a beautiful young woman. Not a fan of her choice of gown, but her hair, makeup and choice of jewellery are perfect in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteCrown Princess Mary looks stunning, she is glowing.
I too am baffled as to why Princes Nikolai and Felix are wearing so many medals, as far as I am aware neither have served or are serving in the armed forces.
