King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden are currently in Luxembourg to attend the 74th Board Meeting of the World Scout Foundation. Crown Princess Stephanie and Queen Silvia visited the Villa Vauban Museum in Luxembourg City. The museum hosts the exhibition ‘John Constable’s English Landscapes – Masterpieces from the Tate Collection’ dedicated to the work of the well-known English painter.
The exhibition is being organized in collaboration with the Tate, and presents a comprehensive selection of John Constable’s art inspired by his homeland landscapes and life events. The collection ranges from small sketches to large landscapes, such as the world-renowned painting 'Salisbury Cathedral from the Meadows'.
The museum also features artworks of European painters of the 18th and 19th-century, inviting the guests to explore the art of that time. The exhibition will be open until October 9.
Wonderful Stephanie ! and Queen Silvia as well, although the trousers are a bit long, but it is probably more a shoe problem.
ReplyDeleteI guess they are speaking German together.
ReplyDeleteOne of Stephane's wonderful qualities is her ability to switch languages as needed. English for the Duchess of Cambridge, French when she visited the Elysee, Luxembourgish when she is among the citizens of the Grand Duchy, and perhaps German for Queen Silvia.
DeleteStéphanie is raised in French as a daughter of French speaking Belgian aristocrats. In Luxemburg most people understand, French, German and of course their own language which is called Letzeburgish. The language is rather difficult and is a mix of French, German and a regional language.
ReplyDeleteStephanie is so pretty and beautiful - that smile! Hair’s beautiful too. Love Q Silvia’s sneakers! Love when she’s loosening up a little! C
ReplyDeleteThis is an unexpected pairing of royal ladies but a most pleasant one!
ReplyDeleteStephanie looks confident and happy hosting a senior royal, and Queen Sylvia looks as gracious as ever and beautifully relaxed in the footwear department :) Stephanie looks smart and chic. Nicely styled hair, and the black jacket is perfect on her. Very nice to both ladies.

This is one of the best professional yet attractive looks I have ever seen Stephanie wear. Suit fits quite well and the red shell adds nice color. Jewelry is pretty. Hair is beautifully groomed and styled.
ReplyDeleteI love Stephanies hairdo, it looks wonderful! Her suit suits her very well, me like. And Queen Silvias handbag is just adorable!

HGD Stephanie has almost certainly slimmed down. She looks radiant. I also like that she is apparently wearing dark clothing, perhaps in mourning and respect for Elizabeth II. On the other hand I don't like much at all about Queen Silvia's outfit. She is normally so elegant....
ReplyDeleteShe is glowing and the hair style looks stunning on her. She looks beautiful! MR
DeleteStéphanie is looking so chic and elegant. Did she finally found the right style ? I hope so. Her hair is beautifully done too and I like her jewelry.
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia is dressed more casual than usual. Is that a beauty case she is wearing instead of a handbag ?
Both Ladies look wonderful. They seem to have had a good time together. css
ReplyDeleteThis is a win win for Crown Princess Stephanie.....Just love the hair, speaking of hair Queen Sylvia's hair is not as nicely coiffed as it usually is, I do like her dressing down and wearing sneakers!
ReplyDeleteStephanie, looks really fabulous. Her outfit is stylish and chic. Her hair is well groomed, very elegant. Queen Silvia as always beautiful.
