Wow! Love The Queen and she seems to be in good spirits. Like her outfit, it seems comfortable and yet proper and smart. The setting seems to be updated and refurbished. Great pictures. The Primetime looks good also in her dress, low key but appropriate and smart.

I love that the queen has such a big smile for her. Helps to put a person at ease for such a historical moment.

Love the queen's skirt but I always love seeing the Scottish plaids in action.

Truss's dress is very nice and from the TV footage I saw, a good fit. You can't go wrong with a basic LBD/suit and simple jewelry. I think it's black. It might actually be dark blue but the same effect none the less.

So nice to see HM up and about. Greeting the new PM. I like the skirt a very nice plaid. As she would say Duty first Self second. css

-Dorothe-

The Queen is called HM for "Her Majesty". She is no HRH. She is the head of state.

What a lovely and positive scene! Her Majesty looks quite well, if a bit frail. Her tartan skirt has a beautiful array of colors. Have always thought that blues look particularly good on her. And the room is so beautiful, as well! All so good to see, Thank you, moderator.

The Queen looks lovely in her scottish skirt, but she seems so very vulnerable. Saw pictures of both her hands which are dark blue. The last months she is hardly able to perform her duties as Charles is replacing her at most events more and more.

Oh, the sweetest Queen with the big smile in her absolutely gorgeous tartan skirt with the classics to go along with it, just love it! Love the colour scheme of the whole pictures!

  10. So lovely to see the Queen but her fragility is very evident. The photos of her appointing Boris as PM just three years ago make the physical change very obvious I wish she had been given a bright cardigan to wear as the grey is not flattering for her colouring. Wonderful that she was able to carry out this ceremony for the fifteenth time. She really is remarkable.

  11. The Queen looks so lovely. The tartan skirt I love, the grey cardigan and blouse I personally love, though I understand others prefer brighter. She is a real inspiration, its so wonderful to see her.

The Queen is such a lovely person and her smile just makes any room seem more brighter. Love her outfit and the room. The new PM looks very classy. Good luck to Ms Truss, I am sure she will be a great leader for Britain. ~MS~

  13. Les couleurs de la Reine sont à l'unisson de l'intérieur de ce salon ; je remarque que même pour cette occasion, elle porte son sac à mains fétiche !

Yes, the Queen seems fragile and thin, but she is immaculately groomed and dressed. The soft colours suit her very much. Her loveliest accessory is her wonderful smile.

Since the loss of her beloved husband, it appears HM The Queen's health has taken quite a visible turn. This seems natural. I suppose it must be difficult coping without one's spouse of 73 years. Still, HM looks lovely, calm and beautiful in her twilight years.

PM Liz Truss is young enough to The Queen's grand daughter. HM looks proudly pleased to see her: a 3rd Lady PM in her lifetime. May Almighty God continue to bless, save and keep the health of The Queen.
