On September 8, 2022, Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands opened the Language Festival at the Centrum Library in Ridderkerk on the International Day of Literacy. The Week of Reading and Writing takes place from 8 to 14 September. Princess Laurentien founded the Reading and Writing Foundation on 27 May 2004 to connect as many parties as possible that were already active, or should be, in the field of low literacy.
I am happy to see her, she is very involved with language and reading. Not a fan of this dress. As long as she like it. josebabe
ReplyDeleteExactly my thought.
DeleteLove love love her outfit which shows so much her character. Great choice.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress, she looks fabulous. Her choice of jewellery, divine.
ReplyDeleteNice to see Princess Laurentien again. Her dress is right for the occasion IMO.
DeleteNot over the top which is often the case with the Princess and not too casual. Love the necklace.
For a good 20 odd years now she has given a lot of her time in various ways in the combat against illiteracy. She has done it without any trumpets or whistles, just good, hard charitable work.
Une robe tout à fait dans les goûts de Laurentien ; son collier magnifique aurait mérité d'être mieux vu ainsi d'ailleurs que ses boucles d'oreilles !
ReplyDeleteHer dress is lovely and perfect for her. She looks comfortable, at ease, and full of fun.
