On September 25, 2022, Princess Kako of Japan attended the national high school sign language contest in the Tottori Prefecture city of Kurayoshi. The Princess gave a speech during the opening of the event. High school sign language speech contest and other related events in Japan are held to encourage the activities of high school students involved in learning sign language or in sign language club activities, and to popularize sign language and promote welfare activities.
This is a very worthy cause to support. Kako looks lovely! This shade of red is perfect for her!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a lovely dress and a gorgeous colour. Happy to see that it is a bit of a departure in a positive direction from what we're used to see Japanese royals wear. Princess Kako looks very nice.

Totally agree
DeleteReally love this dress Kako has on. It's a bit more modern when you rake into account the hemline. In recent Kako has jazzed things up a bit.Slowly it appears she has slightly changed things. Mary
ReplyDeleteLovely dress and matching pumps -- very chic and age appropriate. Good for Kako, she's finding her own style. This is a winner!
DeleteShe looks beautiful. Gorgeous dress, and fabulous color.
ReplyDeleteQuel ravissement dans cette couleur rouge et surtout dans le style de la robe qui apporte une petite touche de modernité dans le dressing de la princesse ; elle est adorable !

DeletePrincess Kako and her sister Mako (former Princess) have been learning sign language from an early age under the influence of their mother, Crown Princess Kiko.
ReplyDeleteTheir Steady efforts are rarely reported, but they speak almost without looking at a manuscript. They must be a great encouragement to those who need or are learning sign language.

They often wear light colored dresses, but at these events they wore darker colors so that their hands could be seen clearly. It shows their kindness to the people they meet.
I am happy to see that Princess Kako is enjoying fashion these days. Her dark red dress with a little lace on the flare is gorgeous. It suits her very well.
A very hard working Pss. lovely as ever. Beautiful dress great color. css
ReplyDeleteI wonder what happened. From what I have read, the Japanese imperial family is “controlled” by officials or something to that effect, which is also reflected in the rigorous dress code. This dress looks like a mini revolution, wonderful.
