Now that's a lovely dress and a gorgeous colour. Happy to see that it is a bit of a departure in a positive direction from what we're used to see Japanese royals wear. Princess Kako looks very nice.

Really love this dress Kako has on. It's a bit more modern when you rake into account the hemline. In recent Kako has jazzed things up a bit.Slowly it appears she has slightly changed things. Mary

Lovely dress and matching pumps -- very chic and age appropriate. Good for Kako, she's finding her own style. This is a winner!

  5. Quel ravissement dans cette couleur rouge et surtout dans le style de la robe qui apporte une petite touche de modernité dans le dressing de la princesse ; elle est adorable !

Princess Kako and her sister Mako (former Princess) have been learning sign language from an early age under the influence of their mother, Crown Princess Kiko.
Their Steady efforts are rarely reported, but they speak almost without looking at a manuscript. They must be a great encouragement to those who need or are learning sign language.

They often wear light colored dresses, but at these events they wore darker colors so that their hands could be seen clearly. It shows their kindness to the people they meet.

I am happy to see that Princess Kako is enjoying fashion these days. Her dark red dress with a little lace on the flare is gorgeous. It suits her very well.

I wonder what happened. From what I have read, the Japanese imperial family is “controlled” by officials or something to that effect, which is also reflected in the rigorous dress code. This dress looks like a mini revolution, wonderful.
