On September 12, 2022, Crown Princess Elisabeth of Belgium visited the residence of the British ambassador in Brussels to express condolence after the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and to sign the book of condolences. Belgium's Crown Princess Elisabeth wore a new fitted ruffled dress by Paule Ka.

Princess Elisabeth's dress and hair are spot on. She's very elegant and lovely young woman.

Fully agree.
DeleteI agree with this comment. Perfect outfit for this sad occasion and appropriate for her age.
DeleteBravo Princess Elisabeth of Belgium.
ReplyDeleteAnd you look stunning in your 'Paule Ka' dress.
Beaucoup de charme chez la princesse Elisabeth qui est une jeune femme faisant preuve d'élégance, en sachant harmoniser avec soin sa robe avec sa pochette et ses chaussures à talons ; délicates boucles d'oreilles diamants/perles !
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gesture! She looks perfect and beautiful for the occasion. Style & dignity!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very thoughtful thing to do and an important step forward in her future role as a reigning monarch herself, even at this very young age. I'm also surprised and delighted that she made the visit as a solo engagement without her parents (no doubt with their sanction of course) which also demonstrates her blossoming independence. Well done to Princess Elisabeth.
ReplyDeleteAnd by the way, her make-up, hair and attire are quite appropriate for her visit. Sober and not too flashy for a youthful, distant monarch to be.

It is not the first visit she made without her parents. Besides Queen Mathilde and King Philippe are in Liechtenstein for the annual meeting of German speaking countries. She is very stylish and elegant and her hair is beautifully done in an updo. I think she borrowed a pair of Mathilde's earrings. As a 20 year old student at Oxford university she is used to be independent. I assume she will go back soon to the university after the summer holidays.
DeleteGià nel ruolo di futura regina con tutta la dolcezza e freschezza dei vent'anni.
ReplyDeleteI vestiti aderenti non mi fanno impazzire, ma lei lo indossa bene.

What a striking young woman. Not only beautiful and elegant, but chic at such a young age.

I don’t think I’ve ever said this but she looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and charming young lady she is!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful young queen in the making and very elegant
ReplyDeleteShe is the most poised and elegant of all the young princesses in her age group, in my opinion.
ReplyDeletePrettty! She resembles her grandmother Paola.
ReplyDeleteAgree!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely perfect.
ReplyDeleteOne of her best looks so far...hands down! She looks absolutely stunning in black dress. Her hair updo suits her well and you can sometimes view glimpse of Queen Mathilde there.
ReplyDeleteAnd then the subtle tribute of her wearing the same style of late Queen Elizabeth II's favourite pair of earrings (white, round button pearl surmounted by a diamond stone). This is very thoughtful gesture from the Future Queen Elisabeth herself.
I'd say Princess Elisabeth has set up good standard and benchmark for other heiresses to the throne to follow suit.
New style icon - lovely! C
ReplyDeleteShe looks the picture of elegance and dignity. Love her black dress, the neckline, adds, style. Her black accessories are on point. Her hair and makeup are perfect. The pearl drop earrings, divine. She is very impressive, the way she carries herself, self assured and dignified.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! What a stunning young woman.

She needs her feet for many decades, I hope. I wish she had better shoes, these are not healthy option

@Rivka. She came by car to the embassy. She will leave by car. I don't think she will wear these shoes the rest of the day. She has other shoes with lower heels and when she is relaxed or with her fellow students at Oxford university she is wearing sneakers or trainers.
DeleteI whole-heartedly agree with the praise of Princess Elisabeth in these comments. But did anyone else notice her pearl /diamond earrings? They are almost exactly like the ones Queen Elizabeth always wore during her daytime events.
ReplyDelete@Virginia Dogwood. The earrings belong to her mother Queen Mathilde, also Princess Astrid (her aunt) has the same earrings. I don't remember exactly but I think I saw Queen Paola also often with this shape of earrings. They are rather classic and can be bought by every good jeweler in Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, etc...
DeleteHow stunning is Elizabeth one to watch in the future. Very excited to see her fashion choices as she grows In to her role. She looks beautiful a simplicity that oozes sophistication. Mary
ReplyDeleteshe looks perfect for the occasion and the dress is really lovely on her! A very nice outfit for a sober occasion
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, poised and dignified young lady. Perfect outfit for the occasion A credit to fear family and her country. AnnieM
