On September 5, 2022, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Opening Ceremony of the One Young World Summit 2022 held at Manchester's the Bridgewater Hall. The Duchess of Sussex gave an opening speech. The annual One Young World Summit brings together more than two thousand of the brightest young leaders from every country and sector, working to accelerate social impact both in-person and digitally. The Duchess wore bow blouse and trouser by Another Tomorrow.

    I am going to reserve my opinion about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but I can say that I really like Meghan's outfit. The red ensemble looks great on her, as well as the accessories, shoes and hairstyle.

    The outfit does not look nice; in the 6th photo the trousers look too baggy not very well structured; as were some other parts of the day. Love the hair style earrings nice. Looks like Harry is a little depressed 1st photo.(Tabby)

    This is a lovely elegant ensemble, chic and stylish. The necktie can be worn in different ways for various looks. The Duchess wears the color red really well. The shoes are beautiful, I love the crossover effect of the straps. The earring are gorgeous, I haven't been able to see what type they are, but look beautiful.

    Wow! Meghan looks sensational in red and the pants outfit is tres chic. Very well groomed hair and face-enhancing jewelry. Harry looks very cool in his jacket and proud of his wife.

    Oh my, how to make everything about yourself again. I'm not a fan of overalls when it comes to fashion, even if the color is very good.
    The only thing I can't understand is: how can someone lecture about compassion and ignore his family, brother, etc.

      Daniela, please do not fall victim to tabloid headlines and articles that are speculative, not officially sourced, and have a vested interest in slamming the Sussexes. One, in particular, was successfully sued by Meghan for publishing private information and had a legal judgement made against them. That tabloid will be antagonistic no matter what they say or do. And tabloids PAY for gossip so “sources” have financial incentive for dishing dirt that the editors/management want to hear, that will get “clicks”, whether it is the truth or not. None of us TRULY KNOW what is happening behind the scenes with the Sussexes and the rest of the family. There may have been friendly meetings that we know nothing about—or not. We do not know. Unless an approved official statement comes out, it’s all slanted word games. The ONLY official statement to come from Her Majesty when they left as senior royals stated that Harry and Meghan are much loved members of the family. That’s it —from the head of the entire family.
      And I do like Meghan’s earrings—would like source if anyone knows.

      Agree with ano 6/9/22 20:42. We can stop this hate from blacklisted papers. If Meghan or Harry smiles they will find something to make a nasty headline over. The hate we see in english media is disgusting. We should think that these are people with feelings who both have told us they have battled with mental health. Do we want to help the press push them over the edge? Or do we want to behave like descent adults? Take your pick. I know what I choose.

    Love this total red outfit, she looks so good with vibrant colors, also the pants fit her much better than the model, perhaps because she went a size up. Her face looks thinner in these pictures, but very attractive nonetheless.

      Not wanting to get into an argument but what is inspirational in talking about yourself? Or in the fact that your public profile is not due to your accomplishments but because of the person you married? I like Meghan's speaking style--she appears warm and friendly without being condescending-- but I wish she could focus less on herself.

      It's sad and disgusting that someone will use Meghan's speech just so they can have something to criticize her about since she uses her own experiences and speaks from her point of view. We all do that, especially in a motivational speech to young people.

    I was surprised to read this was an ensemble from Another Tomorrow, I’d read somewhere else it was Valentino !
    Red is a good color on Meghan. But for me, the outfit looks like it’s clinging to her ( I don’t mean in size) the material seems to be clinging to her.
    Which takes away from the overall look.
    I want to be cautious in how I put this question as not to offend anyone ! But the images from The Cut photoshoot compared to tonight. Is Meghan wearing heavy make up or body
    tan ? Please don’t anyone be upset by the question it’s genuine !!!

    I thought she looked stunning untill I saw a full length photo. I don't really like the way those trousers fit her or maybe her lower shape is not really suited to that sort of clingy flimsy fabric in trousers. That does not detract from how beautiful she looks from the waist up with a pulled back hair style and those very attractive earrings on her. The pony tail I fear is just too long a few centimtres off or that messy bun she sometimes wears would look much nicer more elegant somehow.

    One of the British tabloids, a paper at war with the Sussexes, was quick to highlight in their edition of this morning (06 Sept.) that the red Valentino pant suit worn by the Duchess cost £2.400 pounds sterling. £1;200 for the pants and £1.200 for the top.
    But the paper didn’t mention that it is possible it may be from a ‘rent-a-frock’ shop in America at a very reasonable daily rate.
    Carrie Johnston did this with her wedding dress (value of about €4.000) and paid less than €100 for one day’s rental.
    Or it could be on a ‘freebee deal’, that is, wear it and promote the Valentino fashion mark and pay nothing.

    I think the trousers might be a tad too long. And I always have an issue with completely monochromatic outfits, generally, not only here. I like it more when there is a second colour somewhere to break it up a bit.

      Dear Jags, that’s just silly. If the moderator took your advice, here is who would be banned from the site: most of Queen’s grandchildren who are not official working royals, including Zara Tindall, the Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Lady Louise Windsor, as well as cousin Amelia Windsor, etc. Harry and Meghan are still Royal Highness and “much loved” members of the royal family (her Majesty’s official words, not mine). Their HRH has not been officially removed, although they don’t use that style anymore. Meghan is still legally HRH The Princess Henry of Wales, although, again that title is not used.

      I've wondered the same thing: They wanted privacy, yet they court it, and continue to spew scathing comments about the royal family and yet they want to trade on the royal connections to pretend they are still working royals, and I too wonder why they are on this site, They create negativity everywhere they turn up, are the typical 'do as I say, not as I do' wealthy people, who take private jets everywhere, and yet, wait, I'm not going to go on and on, they are true hypocrites for what they say, the way they live, think, and the meanness that comes across every time they open their mouths to badmouth their own families, and people they feel have 'wronged them' in some way. Yet, they pretend they are full of love and forgiveness, lol. What a load of codswallop. These are not royals, they are just mean people who only care about themselves, not the 'causes' they say they promote. Cath

      Why on earth not? Harry & Meghan are 100% royal, still members of The House of Windsor, still HRH - they just do not use the title. Besides, a tremendous number of non-working royals are covered on this site. Sounds like you have gone your way to purposefully apply selective memory to this particular couple. Guess what?
