On September 5, Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary participated in events held on the occasion of Denmark's Flag Day 2022. The Crown Prince and Crown Princess first attended a respect ceremony at 'The Citadel' (Kastellet) in Copenhagen. Afterwards, a church service was held at Holmen's Church. The objective of the ceremony was to honor soldiers and officials who are or have been deployed abroad by Denmark.
September 5 is an official day aiming to pay respect to Denmark's deployed soldiers and celebrated with various ceremonies and events across the country.

And again Mary's beauty is outstsnding!
ReplyDeleteMary looks perfect in this deep olive dress. It strikes the right balance of sobriety and respect for the thoughtful occasion, and the hat and shoes in pale straw keeps the looks from being too heavy for the time of year.
ReplyDeleteShe seems visibly moved by the event.

What a very elegant dress Mary is wearing. The design enhances her waist and the full skirt is evocative of the “new look” of the 50s. Deep green is a good color for her. I also love the soft gray pearls. She has a “Midnight” tiara with them that also looks lovely on her.
ReplyDeleteVery elegant indeed.
ReplyDeletelovely dark green dress and nice hat. Princess Mary at her elegant best.
ReplyDeleteGreat look for Mary and Fredrick. I like the look of the uniform on the CP, lots of Hardware on his chest. Remembering the Soldiers passed and the ones serving at present time. We shall never forget. Also a Thank you for your Service, goes a long way for any member of the Services. css
ReplyDeleteWow that's a gorgeous dtess Mary looks perfect. Love the hat & her hair suits style of hat. Pure elegance sophistication class & chick. Mary
ReplyDeleteStunning! CP Mary looks gorgeous in this ensemble. Simple, elegant, and appropriate for the somber occasion.

Beautiful dress and love the colour. I would have preferred (personal choice) a different, less summery hat.

CP Mary's posture is amazing, making her so regal. She appears to move like a dancer, with grace. Stunning look for her and her lucky husband and country.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely, subtle but elegant dress, perfect for the occasion. I love the addition of the pearl bracelet and earrings. This style of hat really suits the CP so well.
ReplyDeleteVestito molto bello, perfetto per lei. Anch'io avrei preferito un cappello diverso, più piccolo e non di paglia.
ReplyDeleteWhat a phenomenal dress, the color is serious but not somber, the slight draping around the shoulders and the buttons on the side give it a different twist. The tailoring is superb, fits her like a glove, and it looks like she opted to remove the ruffled sleeves. Perfect choice of shoes.

What an elegance. Good color combination. Not too much Fall yet, just the green color of the dress. The hat, shoes, handbag are well chosen. Well done.

Princess Mary is the embodiment of elegance and style.
ReplyDeleteHer choice of tenue is perfect for the occasion.
Prince Frederik alway looks his best in a uniform.
So nice to see their country honoring soldiers and military officials who have or who are presently serving in the Danish forces.
Beulah seems to be a must have with the royal ladies. We’ve seen Catherine, Beatrice and Lady F Windsor wear the label. CP Mary has worn a few of the dresses from Beulah. She wears them well.
ReplyDeleteAs others have said, this is the right modesty for the occasion.
CP Fredrick seems to get more handsome the older he gets ! He looks very smart in his naval uniform!
Beulah dresses seem to be the perfect go to for royal events this year. Remember Beatrice and Sophie W wearing them at the platinum jubilee. The colours are beautiful and so well fitted. I love this green and it is a lovely choice for the event.
ReplyDeleteHonoring dead soldiers with nice dresses and sending weapons to increase wars, so there will be more dead soldiers to honor with nice dresses.
ReplyDeleteI hear what you say. But what is the solution?
DeleteWars remain big money earners for countries and for the manufacturing and sale of weapons.
