On September 28, 2022, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited the new headquarters of the BNP Paribas Fortis Bank in Brussels, two hundred years after the foundation of the Société Générale de Belgique, the Belgian investment company from which the Generale Bank (now: BNP Paribas Fortis) was founded.
During the visit, the King and Queen attended three workshops about the current challenges for the banking and financial sector: digitization (including the accessibility of banking and financial services for people with few digital skills), sustainability and human capital.
On September 28, 2022, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde received the Belgian province governors at a working lunch that took place at the Royal Palace in Brussels.
I like this outfit very much; it looks very becoming. The brooch, looks gorgeous, a perfect choice. The contrasting red shoes and clutch work in well with the outfit.
ReplyDeleteYes I agree
ReplyDeleteWhy wearing this dress if you have so many beautiful jackets and pant suits (by Giorgio Armani and other designers). I like the combination with the red shoes and purse. The brooch is extraordinary. The dress is making her older than she is. It is now (almost 50) that she should wear bright colors even in fall and winter. It is fashion this season to wear bright colors. Queen Mathilde does not have to buy new things if she don't wish to. She can do a lot of shopping in her own dressing room and find a lot of beautiful colors..
ReplyDeleteI love this look. The style really suits Queen Mathilde.
ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde looks fabulous. I love everything about the dress: the length, the fit, and the upturned cuffs of the sleeve. Her jewelry is modest but very effective. Her hair is well done. And the red shoes and clutch are the icing on the cake.
ReplyDeleteThanks @Debra. My thoughts exactly.
DeleteAlways a pleasure to see Queen Mathilde (and King Philippe)
Together they make a handsome couple.
She is a Queen and she is also a lady.
How much criticisme Queen Mathilde received when she first wore this dress. Until now everybody seems to like it. It looks like Mathilde is always at least a year ahead with her style.
ReplyDeleteMerci d'avoir répondu à mon interrogation ; Mathilde a su bien coordonner la broche avec les boucles d'oreilles que j'aimerais bien porter !
ReplyDeleteThis dress makes her look old. Stephanie
ReplyDeleteI really must agree with you . css
ReplyDeletethe outfit is classic but it suits Mathilde
ReplyDeleteThe outfit is too matronly, and not enough color, though it's better than the yellow/red combo she wore with the red hat, gloves, etc. Anne
