Today, The Princess Royal, Princess Anne celebrates her 72nd birthday. Princess Anne, (Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise; born 15 August 1950) is the second child and only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

Queen Elizabeth shared a message to celebrate her daughter Princess Anne's 72nd birthday. The caption read: "Wishing The Princess Royal a happy birthday today!" The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also paid tribute, tweeting: "Wishing a very happy birthday to The Princess Royal today!"

    I also wish Princess Anne happy birthday. I find it however a bit difficult to use the word fabulous for her, she has a lot qualities in fulfilling her job but her clothing and above all hairstyling choices could be more attractive.

      You don't have to use the word fabulous but others are allowed different opinions from you. Fashion and hairstyle do not need to be taken into consideration for someone to consider her fabulous - she's hardworking, dedicated and loyal.

      Yes I said she has a lot of qualities ! but that would not be incompatible with some more attention to her look. It is so common to read here : "please use a stylist" why wouldn't that apply to her ? And I think they are all dedicated ....

    I do like the outfit Princess Anne is wearing; the colour suits her well. Anne is such a no nonsense person; great with kids and horses. Anne is a great yacht's woman; and general all rounder. Happy Birthday.(Tara)
