On August 1, 2022, King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Crown Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia visited the Valldemossa Charterhouse on the island of Mallorca during their summer holidays in the Balearic islands. The Valldemossa Charterhouse (Cartuja de Valldemosa) is a palace in Valldemossa. The palace was built by King James II in the beginning of the 14th century, for his son who suffered great from asthma.

An exceptionally beautiful family. (Debra)
ReplyDeleteThe young Royal ladies, both look lovely in their summer dresses, fabulous length and shoes look great. Q. Letizia looks fabulous as always, her top and skirt are well combined, shoes and bag perfect. As always King Felipe looks terrific in casual clothes.
ReplyDeleteThe girls look great nice and summery and fun. The dad looks okay. The Queen needs to brighten up; the green looks not so nice.(Tabby)
ReplyDeleteThey knocked it out of the park, such a very beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteEverybody, including King Felipe, look perfect.
ReplyDeleteFashion wise and in a poetic sense, one could say "an ode to summer"
With excuses to Mr Keats.
I love each and every outfit including the kings. Just perfect for the holidays and, as always, stylish.
ReplyDeleteI like the pink dress very much, I like the white dress too but it seems to be shapeless and doesn't fall as nice. They are both beautiful girls, they look very young in these dresses. Jennifer j
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. All three ladies looks beautiful and summery.
ReplyDeleteAn “ ode to summer”, yes that is this family, it lifts up your mood looking at them enjoying themselves.
ReplyDeleteMabel
P.L. hairdo is really nice with the low braid
ReplyDeleteSo beautil family
ReplyDeleteI like Queen Letizia's skirt and top. Very summery, great colors. The espadrillles and the handbag are so lovely when you are on vacation. The dresses of the young princesses look very summery too. King Felipe's shirt looks a bit like the top of a pajama due to the 4 pockets. Everybody looks relaxed and in good mood.
ReplyDeleteFelipe is wearing a guayabera (also known as a Mexican wedding shirt). They are very popular in Cuba and Mexico and are wonderful shirts for hot weather.
DeleteIt is a "guayabera", typical from the Spanish speaking countries of América, 22 countries, actually.
DeleteKing Felipe's guayabera is from Mirto, a spanish shirtmaker
DeleteThe golden girls here compare every loose fitting outfit either with pjams or other nightwear!Siv
DeleteThe Sivs here make an awful lot of assumptions about their fellow posters.
DeleteLas tres van veraniegas y muy guapas.
ReplyDeleteIs there need to be petty for powerful people or not?
ReplyDeleteWhat on earth are you on about?
DeleteOh, that is a question far away from fashion! See whether you will find some colleagues to go into that. Personally I think that the pressure on them is bigger than on anyone else.

DeleteEveryone looks very nice and at ease. The dresses of the Pss are just right for the summer.
ReplyDelete@anonymous 18:26, what does that mean??
ReplyDeleteThis is how some of the young English Royals should dress so much more attractive and age appropriate.
ReplyDeleteEvery country has their own traditions. In every country there are things I like and things I don't (I mean the way how the people are dressed). I'm not Spanish or British I am a Western European and that means something in todays world.
