On August 6, Queen Margrethe visited Tønder Municipality as part of celebrations of 100 years of the reunification of Southern Jutland with Denmark. The Reunification is the term for Southern Jutland's union with Denmark after the national poll in 1920. The centennial celebration delayed by the pandemic originally was scheduled for July 2020.
I always love seeing Queen Margrethe in this pink ensemble--she looks so pertty in this shade of pink.

Absolutely agree. One of her more elegant outfits. AnnieM
DeleteDélicieuse Margrethe dans cette délicate couleur rose qu'elle a l'air de beaucoup aimer ; bon choix que la petite touche blanche sur le chapeau, du sac à mains et des chaussures confortables !
ReplyDeleteQ Margrethe looks very nice in pink. She always has a smile for everyone.css
ReplyDeleteI love the young girls scattering the flower petals. Their hair-braid fashion and matching dresses are striking! What a memory this will be for them.
ReplyDeleteI love Queen Margrethe's style. The handbag looks good The brooch is just right. She is a girl at heart; so cheery.(Tara)
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous shade of pink and looks wonderful on the Queen. Love the dress and jacket, the hat, divine. The brooch looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen of hearts. Congratulation to her stylist.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks so relaxed and elegant in her rose ensemble.
How clever of the queen to have chosen a politically neutral colour for this historical event. I remember her wearing grey with a flowery shawl when meeting the governor of Schleswig-Holstein some months ago.
