On August 15, 2022, Japan's Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako attended a memorial service marking the 77th anniversary of Japan's surrender in World War II at the Nippon Budokan Hall in Tokyo. Japan surrendered to Allied forces on August 15, 1945 in World War II and today marks the 77th anniversary of Japan's defeat and unconditional surrender.
Empress Masako always elegant and always professional, no mater what the occasion.css
ReplyDeleteThis shade of grey is very appealing, the Empress looks well groomed and elegant for this memorial service, reverent and poignant. Love her beautiful strand of pearls.
ReplyDeleteEl tono bonito, el traje de señora muy mayor.
ReplyDeleteThe gray dress and jacket (and hat) are sublime. The Empress is always impeccably dressed. (Debra)
ReplyDeleteAs always with their attire, sobriety, dignity and loyal to their culture.
ReplyDeleteI do not understand why The Empress always recycle her outfit at the same occasion??? I never see any royals recycle their outfits except Duchess Kate, but not at the same occasion, is iit Japan tradition ,but not another royal members ,it seems like only Empress Masako ??????
ReplyDeleteI wonder how Emperor and Emporess feel about growing tension between Twain and China. Will Japan step in should War break out between two countries?
