Apart from one, maybe two (Lady Louise, Sophie Winkleman) who we don't often see, nothing interesting here. Same styles (head to toe), different day.

I love the styles of the ladies :-)
DeleteMy 'best dressed' are Sophie, Beatrice (I don't say that often) and Sophie Windsor (aka Sophie Winkleman). Well done, ladies!
Kate looks fantastic as always, it's her classy signature style from the last years but very nice, I especially love that kind of hats at her.
Lady Louise style is also very nice, I like her hair open like this. The dress is nice and appropriate for a young girl at church, I just would have taken other shoes and bag.
Sophie Essex looks fantastic from head to toe, love it!
Zara Tindall wears nice colours, the dress is good but not a wow for me, but I love the hat (which fits her husband also very nice ;-) )
Anne is classy, did we see this outfit before? I think so :-)
Eugenies outfit is not that bad but definately not my favourite. It is a bit to casual in my eyes.
Beatrice looks fantastic! I don't say that often about her outfits, but that's a really wow. The colour fits her perfect, the dress is very nice, accessories fit perfect, what more to say!
Camillas outfit is also a kind of signature outfit but I like it a lot! very nice!
Sophie Windsor/Winkleman looks fantastic! I love that colour, the hat is wonderful, hairstyle, makeup, everythings perfect! And so nice to see her giggling with Zara.
You really have to look a second, third, fourth time till you see, that Beatrice and Sophie Windsor wear the same dress, because the different colours make dramatically different outfits! :-)
The cousins/their wives of the queen all look very very nice! Like it!
Anon 9:13 This event was on the same day as the Service of Thanksgiving in St. Paul's, in fact, it followed suit immediately.
Delete@DSC I know that. The point I'm making is that - to me - there's nothing new on this day with any of them except the 2 that I mentioned. All the rest are wearing the same style of hat and the same style of dress that we're so used to seeing each of them in. And the consistent reader comments about who looks best and who doesn't proves that. Same style, different day.

Love the pics of Zara, and her happy wonderful pink outfit!!
ReplyDeleteLady Louise is really growing in to her own beautiful style.

Princess Eugenie and Sophie Winkelman are wearing the same dress but in different colours.
ReplyDeleteI think you mean Beatrice. So who wore it better?

Love to see the matching outfits of Lady Louise and her mother. Just marvellous. I prefer today's dress and hairdo of Lady Louise in comparison to wearing her mothers old hat yesterday.
ReplyDeleteStunning flowerish but in the same time modern and energetic looks of Zara Tindal and Sophie Winkleman. Looks like a fun day.
I think Kate is breathtakingly elegant here: a beautiful, tender coloured dress that embraces her slender body. She is able to really “carry” a good dress.
ReplyDeleteAll other British ladies: elegant in their typically British style.
Lady Louise: a real surprise: lovely feminine dress.
D. Meghan: a bit to much a coat- dress.
All in all: a feast for the eye.

The Duchess of Sussex wasn't at the Guildhall reception.
DeleteThey had to disappear into the basement, like the other day.

It is nice to see some brighter looks. Zara and Sophie W look fantastic in pink. Love the DoC in that yellow criss cross dress, gorgeous as usual. And I think Lady Louise looks young and fresh (I like the whole Wessex family).

Just hope the Duchess of Cambridge starts wearing some more serious jewellery. Gorgeous outfit but crying out for a brooch - the Australian Wattle would have been perfect.
ReplyDeleteI agree, a brooch would have been nice. I'm curious if she'll eventually inherit brooches and start to wear them more often.
DeleteElégante lady Louise dans cette robe au délicat boutonnage mais je peux dire que son serre-tête n'est pas fait pour m'étonner mais elle est devenue une ravissante jeune fille !
ReplyDeleteThis day was not a waste, of my time. DoC was stunning, the embroidery on her coat looked great and the matching hat. Dss Kate wow very very nice, would like to wear this dress myself. Sophie was a bit off, this dress would be better for a party not church, OMO. Pss Alexandra always elegant. Pss Michael of Kent, not very elegant, this half coat made her look not very good. The younger generation looked great. I liked Pss Beatrice and Eugenie's dresses. Eugenie's dress a little loud, so was Zara's. Everyone else A OK. I enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteZara and Sophie both have my vote for having the prettiest outfits!! Zara is so pretty and the pink is just gorgeous!! I know they have dress protocols they have to follow but the pink just takes these dresses to the stratosphere!! The rest are pretty, but Zara and Sophie W. are just gorgeous!!
ReplyDeletemary, I agree with every word. (Just me)
DeleteKate and Camilla were the best dressed. Meghan and hubby were not invited to the reception.
ReplyDeleteKate wins my absolutely fabulous style award today! A pretty dress in this lovely shade will never go out of style. Kate’s signature looks reflect an understated, uniquely personal style. I’m a big fan of her hats with roses. Makeup is spot on for this ensemble and TPO.
ReplyDeleteThe Wessex mother/daughter duo gets my first honorable mention! I adore metallic fabrics, and Sophie’s rose gold is outstanding. She favours metallic fabrics for weddings, and I love how she composed a whimsical ensemble for this celebration. Her necklace is gorg. I bet she and Louise have a fun time curating their complementary colour story.
Anne gets my honorable mention for best ensemble in teal, plus I love the lux fabric, as well.
P Alexandra gets my honorable mention for best ensemble in navy. She never fails to get the assignment.
Sophie W gets my last but not least honorable mention for best ensemble in vibrant, bright magenta. Her floral kokoshnik headband is super cute.

Wow, all the ladies, except princess Michael of Kent, looked lovely. The duchess of Cambridge looks beautiful in that yellow dress.

I love Kate, Camilla and Zara.
ReplyDeleteMeghan no, no, no...
Where do you see Meghan? Well it's very interesting that you are invalidating a person who doesn't even appear in these pictures. (Just me)
DeleteHarry and Meghan were not seen entering or being at this reception.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked outstanding. Pss Alexandra looked beautiful, I love her suit. Lovely array of jewels.
ReplyDeleteToday Duchess Camilla's outfit is just perfect, from hat to the golden shoes.
ReplyDeleteAll of the ladies are so elegant and beautifully turned out! The colors, style, and accessories are fabulous. Its almost impossible to pick favorites everyone looks so perfect. Princess Alexandra is my winner as she is my favorite Princess in the BRF--this regal lady in her mid-80s is stunning!
