On June 18, 2022, Princess Beatrice of York and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi attended the fifth and final day of Royal Ascot 2022 held at Ascot Racecourse in Ascot. Princess Beatrice of York wore a crystal-bow polka-dot silk-crepe midi dress by Saloni, and her Jimmy Choo Romy pumps.

Nice dress but there are 2 crystal bows too many. Also...wish there was less black, more white or some colour to make it less... sombre. Ascot or memorial service? Good thing she didn't wear it when Catherine wore her polka dot dress though it would have contrasted better. Again, too long as well, but I suppose longer lengths are her preference.

I think she looks wonderful here. The dress fits her well, and the bow detail adds a bit of whimsy. The hat is charming and fun, and complements the outfit perfectly. (V.M.)
ReplyDelete(V.M.) I agree. I think she looks fabulous and her husband looks quite dapper. (Debra)
DeleteI also like this on her. The bows are whimsical and the hat looks great. Edo looks handsome as well. She has really hit it out of the park this week with her fashion.

Bravo Edoardo!
ReplyDelete¡Verdaderamente! Estoy completamente de acuerdo.

DeleteThis dress needs to be simplified. De-puff the sleeves, take off the bows, chop off some excess length, make the belt one solid colour (ideally white).
ReplyDeleteIt is easier to by a new dress 😄
DeleteVery nice dress for the occasion! Handsome couple! I think she is doing very well, with respect to the situation of her mother and father. For her, the marriage and motherhood, it looks like it made her more confidant!
ReplyDeleteBeatrice has had an amazing sartorial run at Ascot this year! I have loved each of her very different ensembles. The polka dot dress with the crystal bows is wonderful--the bows are the perfect touch of whimsy for Ascot. She and Edo are a lovely couple and he always seems to manage to add a tie to match her outfit. Once again, with this Saloni dress and fascinator, Bea has hit a homerun with her look!

Nice dress, I am just not keen on the bow's. But to be fair both Beatrice and Edo look the part. I am glad we seen so much of them the last week.
ReplyDeleteLovey outfit and great for the occasion. Like Anon 9 13, I would have preferred fewer bows but it's a minor complaint. Princess Beatrice has really upped her game recently with a succession of great outfits.
ReplyDeleteThe dress itself is lovely, but I don't like the addition of the three bow. Her accessories look great.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is okay; but the bows look a bit childish. Not ideal wearing stilettos to a lawned area.(Tabby)
ReplyDeleteAs she is not wearing earrings or other jewelry, the crystal bows are not that
ReplyDeletebad. But the whole outfit is too black. She should have worn white (or silver) accessories hat, belt, shoes, handbag/clutch to make it a bit brighter. She can use a bit of blush on her cheek too. This is the first dress at the races that fits well. It is of course too long but we are used to that with Beatrice, Sophie, Catherine and a few other royal ladies.
As usual She tries so hard but the result is not a success. Her wardrobe must be worth a fortune but she never looks elegant and classy.
ReplyDeleteThe princess is soooo beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI love you princess Beatrice❤️
