On June 09, 2022, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden visited Aland on the occasion of the island celebrating the 100th anniversary of its autonomy. The King and Queen were welcomed in Mariehamn by Finnish President Sauli Niinistö and Mrs Jenni Haukio. Then they visited Bomarsund Fortress, which was the site of a battle in 1854 that led to Åland's demilitarization. Afterwards, they visited Castel of Kastelholm.
In the evening, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, Finnish President Sauli Niinistö and Mrs Jenni Haukio attended the 100th anniversary celebration at Mariehamn's square.
I am a great fan of Ms Haukio.
ReplyDeleteShe has brains and dresses impeccably!
Madame Jenni Haukio a beaucoup d'allure dans l'association de cette longue veste rose portée sur une robe imprimée dont la couleur dominante est le gris ou le vert ? je ne vois pas très bien !
ReplyDeleteYes, Tulipe33. I love Jenni Haukio's outfit, the colors are lovely together. Very nice. I'm always happy to see Jenni Haukio. *Regina
ReplyDeleteNice look on the Queen and the First lady of Island. They work well together.
ReplyDeleteThe first lady of Finland ;)
DeleteMs. Haukio is lovely. Her dress, paired with the pink jacket, is beautiful. She and Queen Silvia appear to have a good relationship. The queen looks very pretty too. (Debra)
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia and Mrs. Haukio looks marvelous here. I especially like Mrs. Haukio's pink coat--such a pretty color.

The Queen looks well groomed, her suit looks beautiful. Mrs Haukio looks fabulous. I love the dress combined with the gorgeous pink coat, the addition of the brooch looks terrific.
ReplyDeleteApparently I am the only one here who does not like the combination of the pink coat with the (mostly) green dress of Mrs Haukio. I like the coat on itself.
ReplyDeleteTo me it would have been lovely with another plain color like cream, light grey or navy. Her tights are too thick and too pale, paler than Queen Sylvia's who often wears very pale tights, but not this time.
