  1. Très joli modèle en lin mais une ceinture en tissu comme sur le mannequin aurait été idéale pour la silhouette de Maxima !

Maxima looks radiant in this warm and glowing yellow dress. I would have preferred if she had stayed with the same fabric tie-belt as on the model but she still looks good. Her shoes conform with the warm climate and the style of the dress. Her hostess in white also has an interesting outfit.

Appropriate dress for the climate. This type of wedge sandals are not a good choice to meet with ministers and officials of the country that she visits

      What shoes would you choose?

Yet another wonderful look from Queen Maxima. I love that she has kept her outfits simple with minimal jewelry for this visit--the topics she has been working on in Senegal and Cote d'Ivoire are serious issues. As this was a business visit as opposed to a state visit I think she spot on with everything.

    1. Agree with you, Janet.

Another lovely outfit, though I would have preferred court shoes to wedges.

  5. This is a very pretty dress, the belt on the model I prefer, regardless the Queen looks fabulous.

I think Queen Maxima is a very beautiful woman and a wonderful representative for the Netherlands. That said, why would she sometimes appear with her hair so straight and looking almost like she didn’t have time to shampoo or brush it? She seems to care very much about her appearance, so the few times I see her pictured with “bed hair” are so off-putting. This yellow dress is very becoming, as well as the shoes. It just appears she “forgot” her hair.

Queen Maxima looks like a ray of sunshine! I just can’t understand why she occasionally appears with such unkempt hair! Maybe it’s a trend and I’m just too out of touch (old) to appreciate it. In my opinion, the straight, practically unbrushed look of her hair puts a big damper on her overall “glow.” -Laura
