On the evening of the first day of their state visit to Austria, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended a state banquet hosted by President Van der Bellen at the Belvedere in Vienna. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima are making a three-day state visit to Austria at the invitation of President Alexander Van der Bellen.
Stella McCartney One-shoulder Stretch-cady Gown
Stunning
ReplyDeleteLooks gorgeous. The pearl accessories are perfect, she wears them well.
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteWow and wow again.
ReplyDeleteI'm a wower too.
DeleteHer tiara is crooked again... Dress is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis is a hit for me - Max looks great tonight. Long may the good fashion choices continue (we can but hope at least!) JJ
ReplyDelete@JJ
DeleteDon't get your hopes too built up.
There's a disaster waiting around the corner.
Queen Maxima is a vision in white!! The dress makes her look very statuesque and like a goddess! Very pretty!!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, perfection in white with pearls! MR
DeleteI guess there was a lot of flag dressing today? She is stunning when everything is right. Somehow Maxima always seems to look better when shes not wearing natan! Km
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%!!! MR
DeleteAbsolutely agreed! She looks beautiful here!
DeleteChel
Queen Maxima looks fantastic from the bustline up- hair, jewels, makeup. But from the bust down, I'm not sure. The dress looks too close-fitting.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress. I’m not a great fan of one shoulder dresses but this is nice. Magnificent jewellery. Hair is perfect too. Queen Maxima at her best. Frau van der Bellen looks 100% better than earlier. AnnieM
ReplyDeleteEpoustouflante, sculpturale dans cette robe blanche ; magnifiques bijoux dont particulièrement son diadème !
ReplyDeleteI think she look statuesque and her presence is notable, I do like this dress a lot, however I think the fit is a little tight and it has a little bit of bride vibe to me, that being said she manages to look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteCherry
Yes, very nice, statuesque; Maxima at her best. However makeup is too heavy in my view and the fit below the waist is not so good, too tight.
DeleteOutstanding outfit. The gown is stunning, the small train adds a touch of elegance. Her shoes and clutch perfect accessories. Her up do is soft looking and makeup is beautifully applied. The pearl tiara is glorious. Love the pearl bracelet, (saw a close up elsewhere) the size of the pearl is not for the fainted hearted, gorgeous. Love the diamond and pearl drop earrings. The pearl and diamond brooch, oh Swoon! divine. The president's wife looks lovely, beautifully groomed, splendid Navy gown. The King looks very handsome and dapper in his tux.
ReplyDeleteI agree. This is Q. Max at her best. The dress and jewelry combination is wonderful. (V.M.)
DeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!!! Again, a stellar nod to her host country by wearing white. Mrs. van der Bellen also looks marvelous in her simple navy gown.
ReplyDeleteJanet
Wow this Gown is a stunner. Maxima looks fantastic. The jewels are to die for ,I wish I was there to mingle. Mrs van der Bellen looks very nice in deed. I wish the CP was with them.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree!
DeleteBeautiful dress....fantastic!!!!
ReplyDeleteA teeny bit snug across the tummy but, AWESOME anyway. Love the dress, and jewels and hair. That brooch is stunning! (Debra)
ReplyDeleteStatuesque and elegant - this is Maxima at one of her finest moments!
ReplyDeleteThe dress drapes beautifully and is not afraid to show her womanly curves, some of which come with age and time, and which she wears with honour. Her make-up, hair and accessories are on point and perfectly in sync with the calibre of the evening.
The Presidents wife also looks nice.

White gown by SMcC, hair, makeup, jewellery, all work really well together.
ReplyDeleteStunning, regal and elegant. Wow <3
PS: I hope she will ditch Natan and try other brands!
PS1: Still oggling that huge brooch, awww!!!
Kaarin
QMaxima looks fantastic today. Beautiful dress, suits her very well. Not overloaded with jewelry. Very stylish.
ReplyDeleteQueen Maxima looks lovely, the dress is stunning; well that tummy tells me she has had 3 children. The pearls are spectacular. She has a very womanly shape; and she has a derrier; not transgender, some of my best friends are transgender.(Tabby)
ReplyDelete@(tabby) Now you've got me all confused when you talk about Queen Maxima's derrier not being transgender ????
DeleteI'll ask my hubby, when he gets in, if he can throw some light on the subject.
I know the results already - he'll just stare at me with his mouth open and shake his head.
On the other hand, if it was about fishing, I'd get a long and boring reply.
She is stunning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful gown and so are the jewellery. I think the shoes she is wearing are too heavy to wear with that evening dress.
ReplyDeleteAva
I think the shoes are tacky
DeleteI really wish she would ditch all of her platform shoes.
DeleteJanet
She reminds me of a Greek goddess, absolutely perfect and stunning. I love her jewellery. Well done Queen Maxima.... ~MS~
ReplyDeleteOh,my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOP,TOP,TOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHer Magesty is like a Greek godess!!!!!!!
And these pearls...to die for......
@Tabby, what are you talking about? What’s a transgender derrière? What an odd choice of words.
ReplyDeleteCB
We've thrown many comments at her about her bra and underwear but her non transgender derriere (backside?) gets me all confused.
DeleteTransgender ;men to women do not have a notable buttocks. Queen Maxima has a well proportioned buttocks; she is not transgender. Do the research on transgender.(Tabby)
DeleteHow about you just write more clearly Tabby and then nobody would have to do any research.
DeleteThanks @Tabby for the information. I'll take your advice and do some research on the subject.
DeleteSounds interesting.
When my hubby gets home tonight, I'm going to take a good look at his backside:-))
She finally found a hair stylist. Thank goodness, keep her/him on staff! The dress is too long, even with the sky high heels she is walking on the hem or hefting it up so it wont trip her. I feel a cream color would have been better than that white, which emphasizes her ageing self. With that said, her hair looked wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe that everybody likes this dress so much, well, how it looks on Maxoma. She looks so tacky, the dress is too tight, she gained some weight and here shoes.....yuk. There are only a few woman who can wear a dress like this, and it is not Maxima this time. Charlene has wore this dress also and she looked fine in it, not tacky. Sorry but I am allergic to tacky and can smell it from far.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the word...? Tacky??
DeleteLol
Ok, Maxima is quite lucky, at least you did not attack her children too.
DeleteOk, you are entitled to your opinion, spare the gingle, please, and I guess we all already know what this opinion consists of.
You have the oddest idea about beautiful women and high street excellent fashion choices I have ever heard of.
This trip was glorious for Maxima fashion wise.
Tabby, we know what transgender means we don't need to look it up, nobody in the world would refer to a woman's figure as such, how in the heck would anybody think that she would be? She is a MOTHER!! Perhaps you should learn to use the word within the proper context. I have read ridiculous comments before, but yours takes the cake.
ReplyDeleteHmmm my comment was not published. However all the anonymous ones are.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why?
Perhaps they were more interesting?
DeleteMight as well give up the Anonymous battle - the moderator clearly doesn't mind.
The first thing which comes to my mind Is divine, yes, divine and exquisite in every respect, just a Green goddess.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Maxima.
I saw her sky- high golden sandals on another site, simply jaw- dropping.
The king and the presidential couple look fine too.
Vienna or Wien is such a spellbounding city, love it and love Austria as well.
This may be Max's "Best Dressed" outfit of 2020. I'd like to make that nomination. :)
