Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has recently landscaped part of the garden that is connected to the Crown Prince Couple's residence at Fredensborg Castle. Crown Princess Mary invited Bo Øksnebjerg, Secretary General of WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) Denmark for a walk in the garden.
Crown Princess Mary has landscaped part of the garden for the benefit of the garden's butterflies and bees, among other things. The Crown Princess dedicated this area to promote biodiversity. In 1972, Prince Henrik of Denmark decided to establish WWF World Wide Fund for Nature’s branch in Denmark and, until his death, he was president of the organization. In 2020, Crown Princess Mary became president.
Polo Ralph Lauren Cotton Sateen Straight Trousers
CP Mary looks fabulous even in gardening clothes. (Debra)
ReplyDeleteI would not say that these are gardening clothes. They are brand new clothes and boots selected and bought for the photo shoot to look green and "to the manor born".
DeleteAgree!!

DeleteIt is CP Mary in a nutshall as we have known her since 2004.
But she looks good in her 'natural style' in the garden.

Mary Donaldson entered the royal scene in 2000 after Frederik had understood that he wasn't allowed to marry a Danish girl because of a rule in the DRF. He had several Danish girlfriends before he met Mary and he was engaged to one of them.
DeleteCP Mary looks very natural and relaxed in that casual outfit.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and relaxed in such a lovely garden!

I agree. The outfit was chosen well. (V.M.)
DeleteJe verrais bien ce pantalon aussi bien en vêtement pour le jardin qu'en tenue décontractée pour la ville !
ReplyDeleteShe looks okay, posed and contrived as usual but, doubt that she actually got her hands dirty doing any landscaping. MD
ReplyDeleteA Princess for all seasons.
ReplyDeleteWhat brand is her t-shirt?
ReplyDeleteCP Mary looks casual & appropriate very nice. Mary
ReplyDeleteThe CP looks happy and relaxed, great to see her in casual wear.
ReplyDeleteMary looks happy. The trousers are not very good quality, the finish on the zip area is shoddy. I like the dog. Some parts of the garden look a bit overgrown; picture 4; biomass pressure (Tabby)
ReplyDeleteWhat mark of trousers would you suggest?
Delete"Ralph Lauren" is a top of the range product. I'd love to have a couple of pairs of those trousers in my wardrobe.
It's the first time I've heard the word 'shoddy' associated with Ralph Lauren.
Il pantalone non è da giardinaggio (un Ralph Lauren!), semmai lo sono gli stivali 🙂
ReplyDeleteJust because something is Ralph Lauren or any expensive brand name doesn't always mean great quality. And Mary loves brand names most of all. MD
