On May 28, 2022, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain attended celebrations of the Armed Forces Day 2022 event held in the capital of Aragon, Huesca this year. The celebrations was attended by members of the Army, Navy, Air Forces and Civil Guards. Armed Forces Day celebrations is an annual national festival that honors armies and encourages information exchange and integration with the society. The Queen wore a new blue dress by & Me Unlimited.

She looks beautiful as always but what I like best are those earrings!
ReplyDeleteIt’s a very pretty, summery dress, but I’d prefer to see it worn in a more casual setting, maybe with espadrilles. It doesn’t seem formal enough for this occasion. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteLooking at the first two photos I thought "wow, another great look by QL", but while looking at the other photos I was getting on the fence about the fit. So, still undecisive about whether I like it or not. Colour, print, updo, make-up and earrings are spot-on.

Angie, in addition to your perfect description of the Queen's appearance, I was particularly pleased to see the third photo in which the Queen is smiling beautifully, her eyes are twinkling, and the earrings are glimmering. Also, I like the final photo where the Queen, with a smile, is leaning toward King Felipe. One wonders what has their attention. (Debra)
DeleteLooking absolutely lovely ! Long gone are the days of long black dresses and mantillas , and I’m so glad.

Lovely!!!

Love all about this dress, the pattern, the color and the design. I do think the shoes are perfect for the dress, makes the look more elegant and complete somehow.
ReplyDeleteThe earrings are beautiful as well.

Just the right combination, of lovely dress earrings and hairstyle.
ReplyDeleteThis dress is much better for QLetizia than the pink one she was wearing yesterday. It is still a bit too long but with the heels it is rather a good outfit.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. Much classier look than the pink dress but on the long side, even with heels. Like the pattern and the waist detail. Love the third pic where she is smiling straight at the camera
DeleteGorgeous. Pretty dress, soft hair and fabulous earrings.
ReplyDeleteI do not like the upper part of the dress at all, the front side doesn't fit good. I do not mind the frills either but I do like her bun and shoes. (Just me)
ReplyDeleteThis blue dress is very pretty, the waistline is perfect. I am not a fan of tier skirts, but the Queen wears it well. Love the length of this dress. The black accessories work in well with the black dots of the dress. The blue aquamarine and diamond earrings are beautiful, versatile enough, can be worn day or evening, love them. The King looks resplendent, he always looks so striking in uniform.
ReplyDeleteL LOOKS GREAT
ReplyDeleteFor me it looks a little too much like a polyester nightgown. The only saving grace is the fitted rooshing at the waist.
