On May 31, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands held a lunch at Noordeinde Palace in the Hague for 26 Dutch invitees who have recently received a prize or other award for their achievements in various sectors such as art and culture, media and journalism, science, sports and business. By holding that lunch, the King and Queen wanted to express their appreciation for the people who have delivered a special performance.
Well, nice look but there is very little to see to make a real statement. The colors are pretty and Queen Maxima looks good--I especially like her hair. Hopefully there will be more to see.

I find the colours excellent, and the large earrings, too, because there is no other jewellery, as far as I can see. The yellow shoes with AWFUL heels are a great combination. Looks completely Maxima! - Ellie
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks well groomed, I cannot recall seeing this dress before? I love the color of her shoes.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is not new. She has it since maybe 2018 or 2019 I don't remember exactly.
DeleteI think she has worn it before. I could be wrong (as the memory is taking a vacation over here) but it's a skirt and top by Natan.

Yes , she wore that dress before
DeleteBelles couleurs dont celle moutarde qui se retrouve dans les chaussures ; je n'arrive pas à bien voir si elle porte un haut et une jupe ceinturée ; j'aime bien ses boucles d'oreilles dans une teinte acidulée ?!

ReplyDeleteShe's always well put together. Congratulations to the dutch designers. She makes some mistakes with fashion but who doesn't? Overall I can't fault her. She and Willem are so in sync. Well done.
ReplyDeleteDutch designers ? She wears a lot by Natan and Edouard Vermeulen himself is not a Dutchman but a Belgian.
DeleteQueen Maxima's evening gowns are sometimes made by Dutch designers and are always very beautiful. I don't remember the name of the Dutch designer who also made a beautiful evening gown for Queen Mathilde. I must look it up.
I found the name of the Dutch designer who makes stunning evening gowns. It is Jan Taminiau.

ReplyDeleteI love Maximas style a lot, almost always and today definately too :-)
