On May 19, Queen Letizia attended the opening of the conference titled "Women’s Bridges – Proposals from the South for Global Change" organized by the Women for Africa Foundation (FMxA) at the UNED Humanities Building in Madrid. The Women For Africa Foundation is a private non-profit organization created in 2012 by María Teresa Fernández de la Vega.
Queen Letizia is honorary president of the Women For Africa Foundation. The conference takes place on May 19 and 20, and brings together nearly 70 African political leaders. An important group of Latin American politicians and activists, as well as numerous heads of international organizations, attend the conference.
The name of this conference is inspired by the bridges that women build with their solidarity, with their shared visions and objectives. Bridges that this time will unite women from the south: African, Latin American and European women from the south and the Spanish women. The conference aims to make proposals to the international community.
What can you say…. Impeccably dressed and groomed, as almost always.

Yes! She rarely has a bad day fashion-wise. (V.M.)
DeleteGorgeous, as always, but the white dressed cried out for a necklace or brooch. (Debra)
ReplyDeleteMy thinking as well. Why not some bling once in a while?
DeleteAgree with you, Debra; a necklace would have been the finishing touch for me as well.

Second to none, except the very handsome gentleman in the blue suit. Who is he?
ReplyDeleteI think it is the spanish prime minister Pedro sanchez
DeleteThe President of the Goventment, Pedro Sánchez.
DeleteThe Prime Minister.
DeleteThe prime minister of Spain
DeleteHe is the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez.
ReplyDeleteOne of her perfect “ simple” dresses, lovely
ReplyDelete( is that Clark Gable next to the Queen?)
Mabel
The Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sánchez
DeleteMabel 20.35 I had similar thoughts, he looks very dapper in the blue suit
DeleteThis subtle but simple dress looks great. A silk scarf or brooch, would benefit the overall look. Love the accessories.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty dress love the length. Mary
ReplyDeletePerfect simplicity wins once again. Gorgeous dress. And gorgeous man in blue suit too AnnieM
ReplyDeleteElegant!

Sorry Queen Letizia but this time the man in blue suit stole the show! My eyes were only drawn to him this time. What I managed to glimpse of Letizia's dress was nice but there was something illfitting around her waist and also I felt like something was missing to complete the look (perhaps hair styled better or beautiful necklace or belt).
ReplyDeleteKaarin
When simplicity meets glamour...Letizia is perfection again.
ReplyDeleteThe tan slingbacks and bag make a nice contrast.
Mr Sanchez Is incredibly handsome.
ReplyDeleteI’ve noticed that all articles are titled with the word royals on them: Dutch royals, British royals and so on; however for Spain is always a designer name. Is there a reason for that? Not important but just curious why is this?
ReplyDeleteEverybody should know by now that Queen Letizia don't like necklaces or brooches. The dress is beautiful on itself but to my taste there has been used a bit too much fabric in the skirt.
ReplyDeleteDear administrator,
ReplyDeletei hope i don't offend you by point it out but why do you always pin Letizia post with Carolina Herrena tag insteed of Spanish Royals as you do with the others. Even when the dress she is wering is not from Carolina Herrena.
Voy a intentar poner fotos:

En cualquier caso, esta muy guapa y elegante y los accesorios color tabaco son ideales.
