On May 15, 2022, Queen Elizabeth II attended the equine gala evening entitled ‘Gallop Through History’ which was aired live on British television. The show has been taking place over the past four nights, with The Queen attending on the final evening. The event was staged by the Royal Windsor Horse Show. The Queen was accompanied by her youngest son, Prince Edward. The Countess of Wessex was present at the event.
Queen looks great and so nice to see her lovely smile.

Just wonderful! So happy that she was able to attend this event and she certainly seems very pleased and happy to have done so. Bless her. (PS I do like her ensemble. The shawl/cape and the colours are unusual and aptly symbolic.)

Her Majesty looks beautiful. Splendid that she was able to attend.
ReplyDeleteHer Majesty looks very stylish; the dress, the pashmina, even the walking staff looks good, she knows how to do older in style. (Tara)
ReplyDeleteIt is the first time I see Queen Elizabeth with a cape. It is a very beautiful one and for what I can see of it, embellished with kind of rhinestones and little pearls... Looks like she is wearing a beautiful dress too. Wish her all the best and hope she can take part on most of the festivities for her Platinum Jubilee.
ReplyDeleteIt was Absolutely Amazing.. So nice to see The Queen looking healthy and Happy..
ReplyDeleteUnusual and interesting outfit on her. I like it. It looks comfortable and elegant at the same time. Great walking stick as well, it has a scepter-vibe about it which is much cooler than a regular cane.
ReplyDeleteYes, she’s chosen the outfit well. It’s comfortable and stylish, yet distinctive enough that there’s no doubt she’s the Queen. (V.M.)
DeleteStill so vivacious and beautifully dressed. I love her red lipstick!

C'est vraiment agréable de voir la reine très souriante ; élégant dégradé de gris et bleu-pâle jusque dans les gants ; j'adore son large châle bordé de strass et de délicates perles !
ReplyDeleteVery well dressed (although for me the dress could have been 1-2 inches/4-5cm shorter), QE looks fantastic in this grey-blueish ensemble with wonderful pashmina.

It was just wonderful to see her at the event and to hear the crowd's reaction when she appeared. If you can get it on playback , towards the end, Lady Louise, driving the Duke of Edinburgh's carriage, leads out the Queen's horses. It's lovely.
ReplyDeleteHow extraordinary HM looks in her beautiful cape/shawl! Big smiles, total concentration--I am sure this was a marvelous event for her, especially at the end when her own granddaughter appeared in tribute to her. I feel sure she was as delighted to be at the event as everyone was to see her there.

ReplyDeleteThe Queen is like a young girl when she's amongst the horses, ponies and in a countryside setting.
ReplyDeleteA remarkable woman.
What a pleasure to see Her Majesty attending this event despite her ongoing mobility issues.
ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely and joyous.
The equestrian show and the stars studded stage were also fabulous.
Encantada em ver a rainha bem , sorridente e muito elegante. Ela continua bela.linda homenagem. Saúde e vida longa a sua Majestade a rainha Elizabeth ll.
ReplyDeleteThe queen looks so beautiful! Love to see her in a dress like that, wearing the best of accessories, a wonderful smile!
