On May 7, 2022, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden opened this year's traditional summer exhibition at Solliden Castle. The exhibition "Genesis" consists of wooden and steel sculptures created by artist Susanne Demåne and is displayed in the English Park next to the castle. Susanne Demåne is known for her princesses sawn out of wood.
Wow, QS looks amazing; casual as well as chic and I love her apple green jacket. All totally appropriate for such a visit!

I love Q.Silvia's green jacket teamed with black trousers. Chic but casual look, great for outdoors event.
ReplyDeleteThe sculptures look interesting but the weather in Sweden looks to be chilly.

Queen Silvia looks like she feels cold. On one of the pictures she is wearing a big warm shawl, on another picture she is wearing a winter coat. It must be cold again in Scandinavia.
ReplyDeleteI love the green jacket. Cannot see it very well but it looks like she is wearing a beautiful blouse according the color of her jacket. She is becoming part of nature at the park of Solliden.
Jolie veste vert-pomme que Silvia porte sur un pantalon noir ou marron foncé pour cet événement en plein air, cela donne look chic-décontracté !
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia looks wonderful! Love her casual look, especially the gorgeous green jacket and the beautiful shawl. Somehow even this casual look Silvia manages to look elegant.

I agree. The jacket and shawl look particularly good together and set off Q. Silvia’s colouring beautifully. (V.M.)
DeleteQueen Silvia looks fabulous, love the relaxed casual ensemble. Especially the smart fitted green jacket. Lovely!
