On 17 and 18 May 2022, Finland’s President Sauli Niinistö and his wife Jenni Haukio are making a State Visit to Sweden at the invitation of King Carl Gustaf. The President is accompanied by a delegation of government and business representatives. On May 17, 2022, the President and his wife were welcomed by the King and the Queen in a state ceremony at Stockholm Royal Palace. Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia were also present at the welcoming ceremony.

What kind of bra is princess Sofia wearing? Has she a table under her breasts?
ReplyDeleteI wonder too about her bra.
DeleteAva
Very rude comment.
DeleteSofi
Goodness--what a terrible thing to say! Princess Sofia is probably still nursing but even if she is not that was unkind.
DeleteI did not criticize her breasts, I criticized her bra.
DeleteA very nice appearance for all. My favorite ensemble is that worn by Princess Sofia. Queen Silvia's dress and jacket are beautiful too but the fabric (brocade?) looks heavy. Victoria looks great too but her white shoes are a bit jarring; nude heels would be better I think. The First Lady's dress is a bit too busy, but she looks lovely. Her headpiece is a nice touch.

The president´s wife looks absolutely charming and elegant. The queen looks hideous. Can someone help her?
ReplyDeleteHow lovely everyone looks in these photos. All the outfits and the hats/headpieces are really smart and chic and I couldn't single one out.

DeleteCouldn't agree more. Everything as it should be (fashion wise).
And the men have had a good wash and polish and honour the ladies well with their smart suits and ties.
Aahhh Sofia. Love love her outfit 😍 Like Victoria's dress, but it gets lost with the rest of the presentation.
ReplyDeleteThe ladies look wonderful. I like the colour and the cut of the dresses of Victoria and Sofia. The First Lady of Finnland looks wonderful in her coat and dress combination. The hairband of Victoria reminds me of one of Queen Silvia in the 1980ies.

I know, I know it's not a hairdressing forum, but please girls tell me how to style curtain bangs like Sofia looks like?
ReplyDeleteSofi
On the contrary - it is a forum full of hairdressers - so, do not be shy! Siv
DeleteI like how Queen Silvia is honoring the blue color of Finlands flag.
ReplyDeleteIn the last group pics I find both the Queens and CPs outfits a bit boring, and Sofias look is a little bit too curvy to my taste and wrong for the occasion.

ReplyDeleteEverybody is well dressed. Mrs Jenni Haukio looks very young. Although it is very fashionable these days, the coat and dress plenty of flowers is a bit too much. The coat with a plain dress or a flower dress with a plain coat would be better. CP Victoria looks very elegant here. I like her dress and the hat. Wonder why she wears 2 little brooches one on each side of her dress. I like Princess Sofia's dress by Hugo Boss too. Normally I don't like head bands, but I must say she is the first lady I find lovely with it. Her hair is beautifully done too. Queen Sylvia is looking very elegant as always. The blue silky ensemble looks very beautiful as well as the hat.
ReplyDeleteMs. Haukio is 45 years old, born on April 7, 1977.
DeleteEveryone´s really well turned out. Yay for simple sheath dresses, I like both Victoria´s and Sofia´s dresses in their simplicity and fresh colours. Both are too long unfortunately, especially Victoria´s.
ReplyDeleteSilvia´s got the skirt length right and her suit is very elegant and fits her perfectly, however, I don´t think the hat matches well once the cape came off.
In Jenni Haukio´s case, I´d say lovely ensemble and very spring-appropriate. The colours make her look pale though. I would have opted for a stronger accent colour for shoes, bag and possibly headpiece. And, also, her dress, although very nice in its silhouette, didn´t need the waistline placed right under her bust. It would have looked better if the seam hit her actual waist.
I really like how both Daniel and Carl-Philip chose ties that coordinated wonderfully with their wives´ dresses.
Victoria and Daniel are echoing the colours of the Finish flag and they look really nice by doing it :)
ReplyDeletePrincess Victoria looks nice beautiful color and style of her dress but don't like that "thing" on her hair but she looks good with hair parted in the middle. Princess Sofia's dress would be okay but I wonder why P. Sofia has such a strange bra , it ruins the look.
ReplyDeleteAva
Strange bra?
DeleteWhat are you look at?
Sofi
All ladies and gentlemen are dressed wonderfully to the occasion, providing a festive and honorable frame. A real pleasure for our eyes. The way they present themselves and treat each other warmly yet respectfully sets an example. The President's wife looks lovely. Very well done! Irene
ReplyDeleteOf course it is not a completion, but the Finnish presidents wife stands out here for me in style and originality.
ReplyDeleteQueen Sylvia,
: classic and good as always; Victoria: dress of her grandmother ( sorry) and Sophia: nice dress that doesnot fit quite well.

What the brand Princess Sofia headband is?
ReplyDeleteMn
When it is not about waist lines it is about bra's. Would like to see all these bloggers who make these comments. Are they that perfect then ? I find it not very polite to comment on people's body parts.
ReplyDeleteNeither a bra nor a (dress´s) waistline are body parts.
DeleteI am commenting about her wrong bra not her body parts.
DeleteThat is the big difference. Many times people on this blog commenting about wrong bra Maxima is wearing very often and that is okay according to you , Anony 16;57 ???
PS. Yes, I have perfect bras.
Ava
For me, it's a bit strange to judge someone's bra.
DeleteSofi
Is Princess Sofia wearing corset under her dress?
ReplyDeleteAva
Victoria is having Finnish Kalevala-jewellery "The voice of a woman"- brooch. Her dress is also Finnish Andiata´s. They all look very nice.
ReplyDeleteJoy to come home after a long day to find this fantastic selection. Lovely outfits in their different ways. Love the bright blue of Queen Silvia's hat and cape, less keen on the suit with its shiny fabric. The hat isn't a great match for the suit. I like the summery outfit worn by the President's wife but wish it was a little longer. Conversely, I think CP Victoria's dress would be better just a little shorter. Love Princess Sofia's dress, possibly the best of the lot. Look forward to more from this visit.
ReplyDeleteLovely dresses for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteLovely looks from all the ladies! Can't decided if I like CP Victoria's or Jenni Haukio's dress more--both look great in their ensembles. The only thing I would change is Queen Silvia's hat--it is sitting quite low on her forehead and once she removed the shawl I don't think it goes well with the suit. Even if its a question of lighting I don't like the way the hat fits Silvia. Love the nod to Finland's flag from Prince Daniel.
ReplyDeleteJanet
CP Victoria looks beautiful, the blue dress is divine, I love the addition of the brooch. The design and fit is fabulous, love the length. I'm wondering if her shoes and clutch are lighter shade of beige, they don't look white on my screen? She looks beautifully groomed. Queen Silvia looks splendid, though I am not a fan of the fabric,
